Thoramagog: The Weirdo-God in the Darkness - New Comedy Audio Drama Podcast!

Project Overview

Hello, I'm a voice actor located in the UK. For the past few months, I've been quietly working on a full-cast Lovecraftian-inspired comedy podcast called Thoramagog - The Weirdo-God in the Darkness. This series will currently consist of three 20 minute episodes with the plan to add more later down the road.

Here is a brief synopsis of the story:

Thoramagog (Thora - Ma - Gog) is an all-powerful being who's been sleeping underneath London for over 300 million years. He was known as the 'Lord of all that crawl' only, back in his day: insects where mighty beasts bigger than most people. Now, his mighty army consists of an almost endless amount of tiny soldiers that aren't known for their individual strength. That's where his plan for a new thrall comes in...

Donton is an amateur eldritch-sorcerer terrified by insects but finding himself working for the ancient fiend. After a telepathic-worm is placed into his shoulder, allowing communication with his new buggy-brothers. Although hesitant, he must accept his fate as the thrall of a mad (possibly senile) old God and his new Holy Advisor The Red Cardinal, a soft spoken but sassy individual.

Why do we need your help?

This is the first major Audio-project that Honourable Fish Productions has endeavored to create. It's a chance for our new crew and talent to be noticed, add to their portfolios and bring some laughs to those in need.

Your help is key in achieving these goals and bringing some ears to not only new voice-acting talent but also, artists, music composers and audio engineers.

    Hey everyone! Thank you all for your submissions! I'm flabbergasted by the amounts of people that have interest in our little Bug-God podcast! After the deadline, we will go through each and every one of your submissions and create a nice shortlist!

Gastro of Sarnath is an old sorcerer. He's a gentlemen to many and a scoundrel to many more. He is manipulative, very good at giving compliments and equally good at taking them away. 

He has come to the domain of Thoramagog in order to enrich himself on his power.


I always imagine him to be British but if you want to try with an accent then please feel free! 

He's going to appear in all three episodes to some degree..

A red Cardinal Beetle, larger than most of his species. They are personally assigned by Thoramagog to scout the surface world and find a way to kill the sun. 

They are soft spoken and employ reason into their thinking. Although, they usually end up agreeing with whoever is speaking. A bit like Lord Melchett from Blackadder but more softly spoken.

Needed to compose a series of similar songs (around 3 or 4) that can be used for dramatic moments, calm and funny ones too. Instrumental pieces that are whimsical, sometimes eldritch and maybe even a little bit horrifying. Classic radio horror stuff is what comes to mind.

We are looking for someone who is able to bring some professionalism to the project and helping it sound the best it can. The entire project is aiming to be around 45 minutes (split into three 15 minute episodes).
