Project Overview
"A young man with anger problems and an awful friend ends up in possession of a weird necklace with an alien army girl inhabiting it. Various problems arise, few are solved."

A voice over for a comic made by a wonderful artist by the name of Gatobob! It's her older comic and is no longer getting updates. The project originally started out as a Discord call of 3 friends reading a comic together, since then one of the friends was no longer able to participate in the project and ended up dropped out. From there, we also decided that some voices didn't fit. You must have Discord!
The closed roles without auditions/example lines were already taken by team members!
Please do not be too serious, we've already had issues with this and other team members. Understand that practices that aren't stated to be right before the final recordings are going to be full of us joking around while reading through the comic.
Note that the deadline is just for finding roles not the final deadline of the entire project, it is something we will work on off an on until it is finished. I'm also hoping the team will be able to bond in the time that we are working on it. As I see it, good team relationships are very important.
This shouldn't need to be said but do not be rude, I hate to say if but the way you interact with the team could determine if you are in the project or not. This is supposed to be for fun mostly, we will be recording the voice overs and such but we are mainly doing this for fun.

"Farz is somewhat anti-social and prefers to keep to himself. Unfortunately, people around him have other ideas. He struggles with some anger problems."
Farz is just a small guy struggling to get by. He moved out at a young age and soon let his high school bully back into his life without reason, maybe he just didn't care.
This little ball of anger finds his happiness in silence, being alone, high places, and birds! Although some of the stuff that sets him off is being called young or small, loud/pushy people, excitement, and cats.

"Sid thrives on chaos. He wants to watch the world burn and generally aims to make any situation more stressful for everyone involved. He probably values some things over disorder but no one really knows what."
Sid is a seemingly unemployed psycho who's more than a little annoying to the people around him. He has a huge interest for Farz, who seems to be the only one who can really bring out Sid's emotions.
This crazy man likes meat, animal crackers (especially if they are refrigerated), and harassing people. Sid doesn't really like being awake during the day, cellophane, or mention of death.

"Her mind is trapped in a tear-shaped crystal that is currently in Farz's possession. She appears to only be able to affect his mind for some reason."
A alien girl trapped in a pendent with bad past relationships is now stuck with an angry midget. At least she's comfortable with him.
"Raven" as Farz called her, misses having senses so she loves controlling Farz. The only downside to her new life in a pendent is dealing with Sid.

"Sometimes goes by the nickname 'BBQ'. Chet looks a bit intimidating, but he's usually very gentle and soft-spoken. However, he can be pushed to a raging outburst."
Chet's voice is imagined by our team to be deep and raspy, he was a smoker in the past after all. He would sound naturally rough and tough, his calm voice giving those who hear it a feeling of protection. When he's angry, it's a different story. His normally calming voice can quickly turn into something intimidating, quickly matching his appearance.
Chet works as a manager of a small cafe called "CoffeePizza" (yeah I questioned why as well-) and seems to have a very close relationship with the cafe's barista, Anthony. It isn't stated but the chemistry between the 2 is undeniably a bit more than friendly.
The big guy enjoys playing bass, partying and fancy beer. He doesn't like anything happening to his friends or someone with a closed mind or intolerance.

(Calming) "Hey, it's okay. If Sid's messing with us, we'll make it up to Farz... And I'll tear Sid's spine out."
"Sorry, my real name is Chet. Nice to meet you."
"Often goes by the nickname 'Fairy'. He's a bit spacey and sometimes has trouble focusing, but he's very kind. He'll go out of his way to help a stranger."
Anthony is imagined to have a soft (but not quiet) voice, his voice often gets higher when scared/embarrassed and only sometimes when he's mad. Much like Chet, is voice is pretty calming most of the time.
Anthony works as a barista at a small cafe called "CoffeePizza" (yeah i question why as well-) and seems to have a very close relationship with his manager, Chet. It isn't stated but the chemistry between the 2 is undeniably a bit more than friendly.
Ant enjoys sweets, partying and meeting new people. On the other hand he hates it when people are mean to each other and confrontation.
"Hi! What can I- Oh... Uhh.. Hi Sid."
"Yeah... Wow, you don't look like how I pictured you at all... You look so... hm.. Normal." (small chuckle) "Are you really friends with Sid?"
(Terrified) "OOOOH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS, THIS IS HORRIBLE. WHY ARE WE HELPING YOU?!
"Someone from Raven's past."
The pitch for Strade's voice is undecided, we think a deeper or higher pitch would work. No matter the pitch, Strade would have a voice that is both cheerful and friendly and obviously psycho.
Not much is known about Strade, in fact you have to look on the characters tab on the webcomic site to even know his name. He appears for about a chapter and in that short time we very quickly learn he's a complete maniac.
While Strade in the webcomic is not stated to have any accent. We are bringing in the fact that in Gato's other works where Strade speaks English, he's German! Don't worry about needing to speak another language, we have translations!

(Cheerful) "You should be more careful! Come on, there's a couple live ones down there!"
(Creepy and sort of perverted) “I’m wondering what good you are to me alive, then. I bet I could keep the important parts warm.”
Samantha only appears in memories and doesn't have actual lines, but we're writing some for extra effect!
The only information about her was found through Gato, and it's that she moved out at a somewhat early age to get away from Sid and often treats him like a stranger.
(Crying) "Sid! Give it back!!"

(Teasing) "Selin, Selin! Look it's Strade~!" (Giggling)
Sid's father shows up in a memory of his, he's not very happy when we see him either.
"Your mother and I have put up with this for too many years Sid, find a place of your own!"
The waitress at the restaurant that Sid brings Farzen (Raven in Farz's body) to when all the food is expired in Farz's apartment.
