The Ultimate Spider-Man (Animated Series)

The Ultimate Spider-Man (Animated Series)

Project Overview

Tagline

You're familiar with the Amazing Spider-Man but wait till you meet... the Ultimate!

Logline

Miles Morales—a new first-year student at the prestigious Brooklyn Visions Academy—is bitten by a spider similar to the one that bit Peter Parker, gaining similar powers and abilities. After the latter's death, Morales is forced to become his successor as the ultimate Spider-Man with the help of his genre savvy friend Ganke Lee.

What is The Ultimate Spider-Man?

"The Ultimate Spider-Man" is a 2d animated series based on the character of Miles Morales specially his original run by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli. However, aspects of modern runs and adaptions would also be drawn as inspirations for this series. I am a huge fan of the original Ultimate Spider-Man comics (both Peter Parker and Miles Morales). And also love Miles Morales as a character of his own right I am not that good planning, or making stuff really, don't have money or experience or skills but I have ideas and want to well make it true. Inspired by Drag0's Maximum Spider-Man fan project I decided to do my own thing but based on the ultimate comics. However realistically after many failed attempts I couldn't make that "One Man Crusade" so after starting from scratch decided to make this a work team. had ideas and used other's help to make them into fruition. So, we are talking about voice actors, writers, animators, musicians and everyone that can help me make this work come together. As I mentioned before there won't be money, but it would have hearth, passion and most importantly human hands. In a world where Generative AI is stronger than ever, I wanted a handmade show about my favorite character.

What is The Ultimate Spider-Man About?

"The Ultimate Spider-Man" had between many pitch the original was meant to be a faithful adaption of the ultimate comics of Peter's run, in short adapt From Powerless to Death of Spider-Man and eventually to Miles due to not an accurate adaption existing of the ultimate comics and the fan made we were meant to have got cancelled so as USM continued. But after rewatching Into the Spider Verse, I said, "Nah I'mma Do My Own Thing". So decided to jump and give Miles Morales his own show right away because my boy deserved it. He is the lead of a hit animated trilogy, and he still doesn't have a solo series, so I decided to doit myself. That doesn't mean the original plan is discarded since many Ultimate Peter's event would be allude to with Peter Parker could be considered as the overarching protagonist of the show in a way. I just hope you liked formed part of this and help as how I liked trying to come with this show.

Requirements

Not much really just good audio for submission and a good attituded as well as contact in order to keep you in tab with the project discord, Twitter, etc. Also please refrain from making bad comments or treating other people badly all of us are still human beings and should act like it. I want this workspace to be a safe environment where people felt comfortable and I would like to help me do that. The last thing we need is another "Spider-Man: Lotus" incident lol. Also the show rating it tv-14 so there may be little bit of swearing and violence. Like a few F-bombs there and there depending in the character since some characters have so potty mouths and I want to kept that so be advise.

Full Name: Miles Morales
Alias: Spider-Man
Profession: Superhero, High School Student

Age: 13

Bio: Miles Morales is the son of Puerto Rican Nurse Rio Morales and the African American police Lieutenant Jefferson Davis. Miles was just your average guy he wasn't popular or unpopular either he as most people in modern New York City just existed Miles' life is unassuming or what some would call "boring" life, but Miles likes it it's normal it's safe. Everything changed once Miles get a spot to the prestigious Brooklyn Vision Academy for high school. Dealing with the challenges of being a student at a boardings school as well as the ups and young of his teen years as well as high school in general Miles planes to make friends and try to well remain still the most normal kid possible. However, things get more complicated once Miles get bitten by a spider and got superpowers similar to... SPIDER-MAN. Despite not wanting to do anything with his powers not heroics, not fame just hiding them in plaining sight everything changed after an incident left New York unprotected forcing Miles to become the fallen hero's successor as the Ultimate Spider-Man. Lucky for him thought, Miles is accompanied by his heroic enthusiastic and genre savvy best friend Ganke making this responsibility almost less difficult to handle - Almost.
Voice: I am looking for a person who can convey all aspects of Miles Morales aka Spider-Man himself. I want someone who can convene of all of the essence of Miles from his shyness to his guilt, to his fish out of water, his excitement, his youngness, his fear and everything that made him both unique and similar to Peter Parker. Also, I plan to showcase more of Miles dual heritage in the comics and most adaption of the character Miles is both of Puerto Rican and African American descent and in the comics Miles is a native speaking of the Spanish language as opposed his spider-verse version. Many adaptations forget the Puerto Rican side and as a fellow Latino I want to also lean into that in a balanced way. So yes, Spanish would be spoken for that role and I looking to felt as natural as how Miles speak it in the comics or in the Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales game.

Making a series of any form is a team work. And in order for the teamwork to work we need a leader. The Director would be that leader. I need someone with experience that could holds the main creative vision, guiding the project from the script and storyboards all the way to final editing and sound.

The script wouldn't be nothing without an animation to acompy him and the animation wouldn't work if the animators doesn't have an idea of where to go. Thats when you guys come in. Storyboard Artist are here to be the visual storyteller who translates a written script into a sequential series of comic-book-style panels that map out the show's action, camera angles, pacing, and character performances.

As I mentioned many times now I am really really bad at planning stuff. Good Ideas, yes but in practice I am lacking you guys are here to fix that. The showrunners have the responsibility to Manages the step-by-step production pipeline, which includes reviewing scripts, approving storyboards, checking character designs, and guiding voice acting and post-production. And do everything to ensure the work goes smoothly and the show doesn't end badly (or hopefully not canceled).

A good piece of media always have a good soundtrack to have it with to listen to every once on a while. Danny Elfman in "Spider-Man", Henry Jackman in "X-Men: The First Class" you get the stick. Eitherway, this job is about that composers whose responsibility is to writes and produces original musical scores that match the emotions, pacing, and storytelling of the show. Show me a link of all your best works. Every style is allowed. And I personally looking for someone who is 'creative' in the music department in terms of the difference of his works. In short I am looking for "Daniel Pemberton" or "Michael Giacchino" in terms of variation. Have fun.
