Bio: Miles Morales is the son of Puerto Rican Nurse Rio Morales and the African American police Lieutenant Jefferson Davis. Miles was just your average guy he wasn't popular or unpopular either he as most people in modern New York City just existed Miles' life is unassuming or what some would call "boring" life, but Miles likes it it's normal it's safe. Everything changed once Miles get a spot to the prestigious Brooklyn Vision Academy for high school. Dealing with the challenges of being a student at a boardings school as well as the ups and young of his teen years as well as high school in general Miles planes to make friends and try to well remain still the most normal kid possible. However, things get more complicated once Miles get bitten by a spider and got superpowers similar to... SPIDER-MAN. Despite not wanting to do anything with his powers not heroics, not fame just hiding them in plaining sight everything changed after an incident left New York unprotected forcing Miles to become the fallen hero's successor as the Ultimate Spider-Man. Lucky for him thought, Miles is accompanied by his heroic enthusiastic and genre savvy best friend Ganke making this responsibility almost less difficult to handle - Almost.
Voice: I am looking for a person who can convey all aspects of Miles Morales aka Spider-Man himself. I want someone who can convene of all of the essence of Miles from his shyness to his guilt, to his fish out of water, his excitement, his youngness, his fear and everything that made him both unique and similar to Peter Parker. Also, I plan to showcase more of Miles dual heritage in the comics and most adaption of the character Miles is both of Puerto Rican and African American descent and in the comics Miles is a native speaking of the Spanish language as opposed his spider-verse version. Many adaptations forget the Puerto Rican side and as a fellow Latino I want to also lean into that in a balanced way. So yes, Spanish would be spoken for that role and I looking to felt as natural as how Miles speak it in the comics or in the Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales game.
