The Troubling Twin Trifecta (Ongoing)
Project Overview
The project is now no longer canceled! Feel free to audition!
This is my friends voice acting casting call for her book The Troubling Twin Trifecta. This is a book that she wrote going on four years ago. Because of this, her writing style has completely changed. She don't change the book at all, so if you see something that could've been written better in a different way, trust me, She knows. She is very passionate about this book, so please don't judge it. Thank you!

Both of their voices are medium pitched. Mia should sound more outgoing and Mary, more shy.
Mia and Mary are twin sisters. One is more cheery and extroverted while the other is more introverted and shy. To voice act for these two, please be able to do both voices.
Note: Please be able to remember how both voices sound, Mia and Mary will be played by the same voice actress!
These are lines for Mary. Remember: she's shy.
(just got bumped into) “Oh um n-no worries…”
(awkward, shy) “Huh? Oh. I-I… Yeah. I’m Misami. Misami Jane.”
(wanting to leave the conversation, avoiding talking)“Yeah nice to… meet you too.”This is a Mia line.
(Rude, rejecting someone before they even ask) "No.”
(Annoyed) “Misami. Misami Jane.”
(Happy with somebody, calling after them) "Thank you!"This is another Mary line but try and make your voice sound slightly younger. It's not a big deal if you can't. It's also a memory that's why.
“Periwinkle, periwinkle and more periwinkle!”
“It’s so pretty!”
Jane and Jessica are two snotty twins. Jane follows in her sister's footsteps. There's multiple times when Jane goes to say something that Jessica wanted to say so she yells at her. Don't make their voices the exact same but please make them similar.
Their voices should be medium-high pitched and sound preppy/bratty.
These are Jane's lines
“Oops! Sorry, Cacey.
----------------------------
Emphasize the word 'so'“We are so sorry.”
Jessica's lines in a conversation.
*mimic Ashley's groan then laugh*
(gossiping) “You guys know your new friend Misami?”
(annoyed at your sister) “Shut up, Jane.”
(gossiping, rude) “She was flirting with Dayne in the hallway after you guys had all separated and Cacey
saw. If he looks really sad, that’s why.”(apologetic) “Sorry, Jessica…”
Say something you think will fit both characters!
Chris and Case (Christopher and Caeson) are twins, just like Mia and Mary. There's not really much to say about them sorry... Just make sure their voices aren't the EXACT same.
Their voices should both be medium pitched but try to make Caeson's a little bit higher but not too much.
I believe every time either talks, they're with the other. I will put the same conversation twice. One will have Caeson's lines. The other will have Christopher's. Time for Caeson's.
(Aleigha just told the difference between the twins) “H-How did you tell the difference?”
(Ashley is asking you out but you like someone) “Yeah, sorry… Me too…”Now for Christopher's lines.
(shocked) “You’re the first person to ever know the difference…”
(Ashley asked you out but you like somebody else) “That’s sweet, Ashley. I’m kinda hung up on somebody at the moment…”Say something fitting!
Cacey is Mary's love interest of the book. Jane and Jessica also want to be with him but he doesn't like them. He's naturally shy and awkward but he fakes confidence. "Fake it 'til you make it" right? Anyways, Mary is the only one that sees right through him. His voice should be medium pitched.
"Hey. I’m Cacey.”
All of this is really nosey.
“Who are you texting?”
“Oh come one. I saw the basic layout of your screen out of the corner of my eye.”
“Okay, fine. I didn’t see anything though.”
“Which is?”
“Oh come on.”(sad) “Oh dang. I’m so sorry.”
(curious) “For what?”
(neutral) “Fair enough.”
Courtney is a cheerleader that hates how everyone makes fun of people who are smart and stuff. She becomes friends with Lizzie and stops hanging out with the popular crowd. She's really not too important except to add a tiny bit of humor with drama. Her voice should be medium-high pitched with a bit of a preppy sound to it.
(curious, whispering) “Lizzie, right?”
(going to introduce yourself) “I’m-”
(upset) “No, I get it.”
(annoyed) “I hate how everyone I talk to treats others.”
(petty, annoyed) “Is he really supposed to be in here or did he actually manage to pass his classroom and just made a big fool of himself?”(annoyed, then you slowly get angry)“Aww. You thought you had a smart girlfriend. When in reality, everyone knows I rejected you and you can’t seem to get it through your thick skull that no girl in her right mind would want to be with you.”
(annoyed, defensive) “Shut up, Kam.”
Lizzie is a shy and quiet nerd. She's usually super sweet but when she gets nervous (like talking to Courtney for the first time), she talks fast and doesn't pay attention to what she says so it sometimes comes across as rude.
Her voice should be soft and sweet, medium-high, more on the high side but not super high.
(popular girl asked if you're Lizzie, shocked)“M-me? Yeah. I’m Lizzie.”
(talking a little fast, say it kinda like 'while your BOYFRIEND is in here, slightly irritated yet shy)
“Courtney. The cheerleader. Yeah, I know. Your friends always make fun of me. I don’t think you should be seen talking to me while your boyfriend is in here."
(annoyed) “I hate how everyone I talk to treats others.”
(petty, annoyed) “Is he really supposed to be in here or did he actually manage to pass his classroom and just made a big fool of himself?”(directly after above line, super apologetic) "Oh no. I’m sorry I didn’t mean-”
(shocked) “Oh my god… We never asked if she needed help with anything or how her day was!”
Kam is a football player who's 'girlfriend' is a cheerleader. They aren't together. She rejected him but he won't accept it.
He's an airhead and super rude. Obviously you can tell by the lines he has.
Voice should be medium-deep pitched. More on the deep side though.
(barging into class) “Yo!!! First day of the senior year! Can I get a HUH YAHHHHH?!?!?!”
(rude) “Gifted? Hah! You’re all nerds here!”
(shocked then flirty) “Courtney?! You’re in here?! I always knew I had a smart girlfriend.”
Tiffany is, like mentioned in Tia's bio, one year older than Tia but in the same grade (Tia got put up a year) and also one year younger than their twin brothers, Christopher and Caeson.
Her voice should be medium pitched.
(concerned, confused) “Where do we go?”
(concerned still) "Okay..."
(happily) “I have history and art.”
Ms. Walker is the only named female teacher. If you audition, there's a few other girl teachers that only have like one line so if you would please be able to do those lines in the book, that would be great! Her voice should be deep.
“My name is Erika Walker. I will be your teacher for this semester. Our subject - math. As long as you follow my rules, we shouldn’t have any difficulties. Room 203 is the room to remember!”
“Dayne. I see you’ve made friends with Misami. How about you give her a quick tour of the school? New students always get tours in their second period classes.”

There's a plot twist somewhere and this girl is VERY important for it! She needs to have a soft voice that's medium pitched.
"Yeah big bro..?"

There's a plot twist somewhere and this guy is VERY important for it! He should have a medium-low pitched voice that sounds sweet.
Now I can't use actual lines from the story for this character because it will spoil things but I can make some things up.
(Joke around)
"Come on, little sis. Why do you have to butt into everything?"
(Bashful) *soft chuckle* "Oh... hi...."[Top secret lines]

Mrs. Greene is Madeline's mother. She's got a very emotional part to play. I wish that the word 'minor' wasn't used because this character is VERY important. Even though she doesn't speak that much and she's only at the end of the book, she's very very important to the story. Her voice should be soft and sweet, medium pitched.
(sad, it's hard to think about) “Hey, guys… You all know that Maddie hasn’t been in school yet this year.”

Tia Loud is Tiffany’s younger sister (by one year). Because of her smarts, she was bumped up a year in grade school, making them in the same grade. She is also the younger sister to twins Christopher and Caeson Loud.
(irritated) “We should have asked Ashley or Aleigha to help us!”
(reassuring but still concerned) “Come on, sis. You know our brothers are the best. They’ll find someone to help us out.”
(happy and giggly) “That’s not too bad.”
“I mean I hate singing but parenting seems fun. You get to bring babies home.”
“Cutesy little baby dolls that you get to take care of.”
Mrs. Jane is Mia and Mary’s late mother. Due to this, she only appears in the flashbacks that the girls have of their mom. She should have a middle-toned voice.
(happy with a sad undertone) “It’s so good to see you laughing, Mary.”
(sad)“Just… take care of Mia, okay? She’s smart like you but sometimes she lets her confidence get the best of her.”
(happy with a sad undertone) “There’s my little nature-lover.”
Mrs. Vannoy is the principal. She's loving and acts as a guidance counselor except she actually listens to you and she gives good advice. Sadly, she's got only a few lines. Her voice should be medium-deep toned but mostly medium. She needs to sound soft and caring.
(calmly) “We’ll talk whenever the final two get here.”
(questioningly) “Everyone here knows Madeline Greene, correct?”
