The Touch of A Crimson Rose
Project Overview
Journal entry, number one.
London, England. The date, May 25th, Saturday, 1946.
My name is August Helmer, age twenty. I stand at 6’2, dark brunette hair, hazel eyes. I’m a male of with a slender athletic build.
You are about to journey into my life. My story.
Do believe me when I say that it's not one for the feint of heart or the young.
I am a Serial Killer. I will hold no shame in this.
You are all instruments to tell my story. Instruments that play the tune of the victims I've killed and others along the way.
My story will play out in episodes. Like a drama, if you will.
Some of you will help illustrate these episodes. Giving the audience a proper visualization of the contents of my endeavors.
Let's get started, shall we?

Welcome to The Touch of a Crimson Rose.
This is an original project about the life of fictional London-based serial killer, August Helmer.
August ventures through London, going on what he refers to as "Dates".
Little to the knowledge of those involved, these "dates" can be quite deadly.
August can't keep these up for too long before he's caught, but he has an unknown craving to kill.
It seems like only a matter of time before August has to face the consequences of his various and brutal actions.
This is a deferred project! If the project so happens to make money, I will see to it, that all parties involved are paid fairly.
I chose to respect and care for all those involved in my projects. I would love our efforts to be rewarded. I apologize that I cannot pay by default.
This project will be an episodic series. Characters may return throughout various episodes. Please be mindful of this when submitting an audition.

(Smoking a cigarette) My father was a wonderful man. (Puff in, puff out) The best they come. He was going to join in arms when he had his youth but when he found out I was on the way, he stopped everything. Everything to be with his family. (In, out) And he never stopped being the best damn dad you'd ever have...
(Drunk with anger) Do you- Do you think I'm mad? Do you think I'm loopy? Is that it? I gave my heart to you. "My love undoubtly yours." Do you remember that? I highly doubt you do. What happened to you...? Who are you?
I love the smell of nothing. The stillness in the air. It's calming. I imagine someday we'll be able to enjoy it together, whenever we want.
