Hello!
I have previously have been doing actual-play podcasts on my Youtube channel recently, but I wanted to also do analog horror to expand the share universe of my series.
I introduce you to The Seymour River Mine Disaster; a mysterious and deadly series of events unfold following the opening of the Seymour River Coal Mine in Vancouver by Gemory Industries. The story, set in 1998, begins with a radio broadcast introducing the controversial mine, plagued by environmental protests. Tensions escalate as the workers discover an unusually potent and eerie coal, which burns far longer than normal and raises unsettling questions.

Personally, I feel having heavily armed guards watching a coal mine is pretty fucking excessive, but they’re probably there to ensure that none of the treehuggers can try to wreck the place.
As for the actual mining itself, we did actually find some thermal coal. Not a significant amount that I had imagined, but at least something.
