The Scourgelords
Project Overview
This video is becoming a promotional video for The Eternal Leaf on Argent Dawn, a long existing RP, PvE and PvP guild. The promotion takes place in a scene with several scourgelords discussing their plans for the events in the RP for the coming expansion Shadowlands. This promotion is meant to give people an introduction to the characters and the story, as well as being a tool for recruitment.
We have developed each scourgelords backstory and looks.
I am willing to compensate voice actors somewhat but am not sure about amounts. We dont know how many roles we will actually use.
You will notice not all have images yet, I'm still working on each of their models.

Casting soon
We will likely begin casting people on Monday. We happen to be on the clock to get this out before the next WoW patch. The 23d is a deadline to get much of this happen.
Morolov is known as the ancient of death. He is imprisoned deep below the earth in a tree which many roots connect him to his minions across the world. His voice would requires a mix of wisdom and a certain sense of creepiness.
Morolov was once an ancient night elf, turned into an undead ancient. Good luck!
We may already have someone for this role but willing to see if anyone can nail it better.
The Great Tree has died… and from it’s flower’s a seed has fallen into the decomposing foliage below… from this new seed, spawned in death, a new tree will grow forth… andthis tree shall be… (Pause for effect) Eternal.
Helaine is a fallen paladin turned undead. When the lich king's influence broke she sought to hinder the scourge from within. She is one of the few scourgelords who seeks control of the scourge for what are likely the right reasons.
She is a human undead.
You and your damn riddles Morolov… yes, The Helm has shattered, leaving us with the responsibility of the armies of the damned, with no power to control them!... save a precious few… How do you propose we are to reclaim control?
Kar'lak was once an ogre. He died fighting and killing a nerubian crypt lord. (large spider like creature) When the crypt-lord died, he released a swarm of insects who crawled into kar'lak's body and started controlling him like a hive-mind.
In short, Kar'lak is an ogre body controlled by a hive of insects. A collective intelligence who speaks through the body of the ogre.
Tell me Morlov? Who will have power? You? (laughter in back of throat) you clever Morlov, no trust you. You give power after you done wif it? (laughs in back of throat again)
This was once a death knight character of someone who roleplayed with us. I remember they mentioned they wanted a voice like Christopher Lee so good luck with that one!
Praavus Ravenmane is a more traditional death knight. The riders will take much inspiration from the Wild Hunt.
There are other ways to find rare items in this world, ones without such drawbacks. I am aware of a problem that gives me great unrest. Those… carrion… those scavengers who destroyed the old one. They will come, and they will take away everything we have built. We will lose everything…
Ruthven is a vampire-like character. He is very gothic inspired and relies on his sense of charisma and compromise. He may seek to negotiate even with the living. His sharp tongue however, can be very dangerous.
Calm yourself Ravenmane, no one is without weakness, The Horde and The Alliance are always at each other's throats. With any luck they will wipe themselves out. (begins laughing heartily)
Dr Caine is a mad doctor in the scourge who relies on his grotesque experiments. A mad undead doctor, should be clear.
I suppose that is all? We have, at least, a direction to follow now, I suggest we move hastily from this point forward, find the artifacts and discuss what to do with them afterward, time is of the essence and it is not on our side, we have an advantage for now, assuming we are the only ones to know of these artifacts, and you must always press the advantage, lest you lose it.
This character is an undead vrykul. Basically an undead viking who raises dragons from the dead and tames them.
Tell me Morlov? Who will have power? You? (laughter in back of throat) you clever Morlov, no trust you. You give power after you done wif it? (laughs in back of throat again)
Aurthur was a pirate for a long time until Alliance intelligence assassinated him for stealing gold from the royal treasury. The scourge raised Aurthur, he now serves as admiral in the scourge.
Undead pirate captain, that should be clear.
It matters little if ye trust each other, what matters is getting a hold of the rest of the artifacts, work by yourselves or togather, regardless if we lose an artifact, we lose our ability to control the mass of undead around us.(holds up “Eye of Avarice”) This will help me in me search for the other artifacts (grins widely)
Glyton is a saurok (lizard creature) who have long been enslaved by their mogu masters. In death however, Glyton has gotten the opportunity to take revenge. To enslave his former masters as minions of the scourge.
Tell me Morlov? Who will have power? You? (laughter in back of throat) you clever Morlov, no trust you. You give power after you done wif it? (laughs in back of throat again)
Taz'mil is a former blood troll specializing in voodoo magic and being close to a troll death deity.
She will speak with a jamaican accent.
You and your damn riddles Morolov… yes, The Helm has shattered, leaving us with the responsibility of the armies of the damned, with no power to control them!... save a precious few… How do you propose we are to reclaim control?
Ly'theria is a specter and controls most of the ghostly forces of the scourge. She is an elven wraith.
A question I am more than happy to answer. I know you know, something the others do not, that there are certain… items. These items contain tremendous power and could easily grant us the ability to regain control.
