Kar'lak was once an ogre. He died fighting and killing a nerubian crypt lord. (large spider like creature) When the crypt-lord died, he released a swarm of insects who crawled into kar'lak's body and started controlling him like a hive-mind.
In short, Kar'lak is an ogre body controlled by a hive of insects. A collective intelligence who speaks through the body of the ogre.
Tell me Morlov? Who will have power? You? (laughter in back of throat) you clever Morlov, no trust you. You give power after you done wif it? (laughs in back of throat again)
