Buck
So amazing news! There has just been a new episode written up and there's a very high chance we're having another character, one of the main villains known as Buck! Feel free to audition and happy hunting!
The Rig
Project Overview
The Rig is a Halo 5 machinima about a team of 5 security guards on a mining rig. Things seem to become worrisome when the dropship doesn't arrive on time and the team have to figure out what appears to be the cause while dealing with their own problems and antics within the team.
There are 5 main characters and plenty of minor/secondary/tertiary characters. Some character deadlines can be extended by a month or 2 due to order of appearance.
On a side note, this is a pilot series of a much bigger story at hand, some roles listed in the cast (Sam, Daniels and Desmond) are planned to return in the bigger story and have different impacts on new characters and how the story unfolds.

Schedule + The Bigger Series
Howdy everyone! How are our fine guests doing? Now what I have here is my person schedule of how I plan to go about the roles here, just helps so you aren't entirely left in the dark! 19th October - Start making considerations on voice actors and roles (Figure out if we'll need a Daniels and Sam VA, the original ones could be pulling through), create a list for considerations 26th October - Start figuring out the finale VAs for the characters 2nd November - Deadline Now for some characters (pretty much everyone except Daniels, Alex and Sam) we can push the deadline back due to them appearing later. And another note, if you don't get the role for this project, don't worry! The Rig is just the pilot to a much bigger series, with heaps more characters! We have a few recurring from The Rig but there are seriously heaps of new ones with many heroes and also more villains (Side note: villains are my favorite), so there are many roles to check out there. So far I can say out of 2 arcs, there are perhaps 47 characters. BUT, I will be slimming this down, not cutting them, but spreading them across the series better. e.g. about 5 villains are pushed back to appear in the 4th arc. If you're curious, then so far there are about 30 characters in the first arc (5 seasons) Happy hunting! And remember there are still future roles in the chance you don't get one here, I have a lot of characters I need VAs for and it's gonna be amazing -
New Role
Okay so we're currently concerned with one of our current VAs for one of the main characters, Sam. The role has been opened up here in case you would like to try out for his character, can't guarantee anyone will get it unless the current one drops out entirely. Happy hunting!

Okay so quick note, while I have listed his accent as 'North American', I am sorta specific on the kind of accent done. Personally, I have always seen Buck with a New-Yorker/Boston-y accent. I do actually have a very specific example, but I'll only provide that if any of you want (just pm me if you want the example and all). If you want to try your own thing, I don't mind at all, honestly performance matters more for this kind of character.
So Buck is a weapons developer and businessman. He is one of the three main villains but is the most prominent one in The Rig. Buck is talkative, eccentric, sadistic, manipulative and bitter, living behind 2 masks. His public face is often displayed as kind and gentle, great with people and a beautiful passion to help humanity as best as he can. Underneath it all, he houses a very dark heart full of hatred, anguish and sadness that wants to destroy the UNSC for wrongs they have done to him in the past. He works with an ambitious scientist in order for him to gain tech to take them down from the inside while also supplying her with money and some tech he creates on the side.
A great example of his personality is someone like Felix or Temple from Red vs. Blue
(Relaxed) Your time is 5 minutes. Yikes, looks like you're cutting it close. eh?
Come on, dearest Desmond. Three targets, that's all. Oh and remove any and all info if you can, last thing I need is Genevieve calling up on what the fuck I'm doing having all these guards get killed off for... resources.
(Irritated) Hey! Dickstick! Get the fuck in! Time's almost up!

Daniels is officially signed on as a scout for the security team, but he uses the scopes as camera lenses for documentaries and films he makes around the rig itself. He has established himself as the cameraman and often is up to mischief with Jack, the chef.
(Excited) Yes! Perfect! Just… just a little to the left aaaaaaaand… snap!
(Concerned) But Jack! There are bodies! Dead bodies! And they’re not even props!
(Annoyed) Well what if I become leader for once? What if you all finally listen to me instead? I can finally be regarded as important by you guys rather than some annoying cameraman.

Sam is signed on as the mechanic of the team of 5. Despite this, he only used that as an excuse to use computers constantly. He is a very dark and sarcastic individual who seems to hate everyone on his team save for Sullivan and the radio operator at HQ, Alex. He often scolds the team for their idiotic adventures and will try to hide from them in his computer room as much as possible.
Prior to joining the mining team, he was a DJ and computer nerd, often being isolated before accidentally releasing the profile of a terrorist who he deemed noble. He managed to evade authorities on this before he joined up with the with mining team as a way to distract himself and to avoid any possible suspicion and blame.
(Sarcastic) Wonderful. Oh how my life is flip turned upside down into a wonderful paradise of imagination and happiness... Joy.
(Annoyed) Oh shut up, MacLeod. Like you have the balls to do anything.
(Frustrated) Because Alex is my friend! I don't care what you fuckers say, but at least Alex isn't a fucking idiot.

Alex is the radio operator for Reggies' Mining Industry, Alex often talks with Sam from the main team and spares information when possible about what's happening at HQ. Alex has been working on the radio for 5 years and keeps tabs with all security/mining teams.

(Excited) Oh! Bet! Yes! Please spill the deets, mah main man.
(Concerned) Hold up, something’s wrong with the radio… just give me a moment.

Terrence is the leader of Section A's mining team, having worked there for 12 years. He seems to be tired with the whole thing but at the same time has no care about leaving considering he is able to make a decent amount of money and the process in claiming minerals is easy. He feels like he gets along well with his team due to them not killing him, he also feels they like him because of his lack of care for protocol or rules.
(Monotone) Lieutenant Gary Terrence, Security Team Charlie of Reggies’ Mining Industry.
(Tired) This is way too early for me to be excited about anything.
(Indifferent) I don’t recall this being regulation… but at the same time, I don’t really care. Just do what you came to do or… yeah.

Nadia is apart of Section A's security team. The job wasn't her first choice and was a plan for only a month, but due to the dropship only coming back once a year, she found herself almost forced to stay with the team of Terrence and Miller. She is very unhappy with everything and tends to threaten Miller whenever she sees him, she feels indifferent about Terrence but would prefer if she could just leave and be done with everything there.

Desmond is a secondary villain and mercenary belonging to a weapons developer. He used to be very naive and joyful until he met the weapons developer and soon he was molded into the ruthless mercenary he is now. Underneath his cold personality, he still houses a warm heart for friends and family but almost refuses to let it show under the fear of being tortured by his commanding peers.
Desmond has proven time and time again to be a valiant and dangerous soldier, managing to be disciplined to the point where emotions almost lack existence and him being of sound mind. He has a very good track record and often moves between working for the weapons developer or the scientist that helped make him into the kind of person he is now.
If you want an indication of his personality, he is introverted, productive and at times aggressive.
(Optional) Personally I picture him sounding edgy, but it's up to you how you interpret this character. Looking forward to auditions for this guy!
(On call) Buck? Yeah, it’s finished, Prometheus’ intel was correct.
(Irritated) Lástima que no me importe, I’m good at what I do.
(Irritated) I don’t answer to you, I only answer to Buck.
