The Reaper - GTA 5 Short Film
Project Overview
Howdy, Everyone! This is the casting call for a GTA short film called The Reaper. Written and Directed by Martin5050. The short film takes place in current-day Los Angeles. A once beautiful and prosperous city quickly turned into a hive of organized crime and drug trafficking. Corruption and infamy run rapid throughout the city as the elected officials have turned a blind eye so their pockets can be filled with luxuries. The good people of Los Angeles are left defenseless and in shambles, as there's no hope in sight. That is until a mystic figure emerges from the shadows to take matters into its own hands.
Purpose of the project:
This film is a short film, roughly 10 mins long, that will demonstrate beautiful cinematography and animations that will hopefully highlight my skills for future projects.
What we are looking for:
We are casting for ambitious and hardworking Voice Actors that are not afraid to adapt and learn from criticism. We hope to cast people that are willing to work with us in the future. Even though this project is a non-profit, we intend to make a high-quality short film nonetheless. Therefore, there are some requirements:
1. Must have good/decent mic quality (No static or noise)
2. Must have no background noise, (No air conditioning or fans.)
3. Must be at least 18 years of age
4. Must be comfortable with profanity and mature content.
5. Willing to redo lines
6. Must have discord. (please provide your discord username in the audition.)
What to expect:
Once you have been cast. You will receive a message on discord from Martin5050. From there we will schedule a time for recording that best works for you. We intend to do live recordings for each part so that we get the absolute best results from each Voice Actor/Actress. If you can not Record lines during the month of August, please do not audition. We look forward to listening to your auditions and hopefully joining the production team!

The young woman is in her mid to late 20s. She works for a news media outlet. In this film, she is walking home late on a rainy night. Until she runs into several thugs. Feel free to improvise!
YOUNG WOMAN
(Tired and Cold, On the Phone)
Yeah... Yeah, I know honey. Jane had me stay late to finish up on the report. [Pause for response] I am...just now crossing Atlee street. [Pause for response] Yeah...I should be home in like 15 minutes.[Short pause] Alright, see you soon, Love you, Bye.
YOUNG WOMAN
(Scared and tired)
Please! Just leave me alone! Stop it! Why are you doing this!
[Various crying and heavy breathing. She's being chased]
Thug Two is a typical street rat looking to take advantage of the young woman. Try not to over-sale it. Make it feel natural and uncomfortable. He tries to act tough.
THUG TWO
(Sinister and unhinged)
Well, well, well… Look what we got here boys.
THUG TWO
(Confused and a little timid)
What the fuck… who the hell are you?
[Various chuckles and sinister laughter.]
[Various grunts and screams of agony.]
Thugs are typical street rats looking to take advantage of the young woman. Try not to over-sale it. Make it feel natural and uncomfortable.

Look. *light chuckle*
(Frighten)
