Waves of Disquiet (Horror Animation)
Project Overview
The Radio is the current name for a horror audio drama I'm writing. (I'm hoping to make it an animation) It follows a young woman by the name of Alex who's grandparents recently died, leaving their house for her in their will. She moves in and starts fixing up the place in anticipation of her future marriage and the prospect of raising children in the place she spent countless hours at as a child herself. She sees an old radio that her grandparents owned that she used to play with. One night it turns on unexpectedly and a ghost named Seymour, an old-fashioned, charismatic, devilishly charming character, haunts her and begins to torture her mind. (Think Alastor from Hazbin Hotel) It's a truly captivating story and I hope that we can get it out early next year!

Chas is Alex's boyfriend. He's a hard worker who is saving up as much money as possible to marry Alex and raise a family with her in the house that she inherited from her grandparents. Very minor role, but very important to the plot.

(Jokingly indignant) Why do you think I'm working so hard? (Laughs) We’ll get there. I promise.
(Mock bashfulness) Aww gee! Thanks! (Laughs)
Ray is a mover who drove the truck of Alex's belongings to her house and helped her bring her boxes inside. Only has lines at the beginning but it's a fair amount.

So uh… not to pry, but why'd you move out here? Seemed like you had a decent place in the city.
I've seen a lot of vintage radios in this job, but this is the most unique one yet!
Sounds like you got good memories here.
I originally thought of this project as an audio drama, but it would be amazing if I could get an animator on the job and make it a cartoon. Just leave a link to your work and your rates, and I'll see if we can make something happen!
