The Oracles: Female Role Casting
Project Overview
The Oracles is an indie fantasy animation. We are a dedicated team that has been working for about over a year (Since August 2022) and we have decided to step it up and expand our team. We would love it if you could join us in this journey to making something entertaining and diverse for those who grew up in the our generation.
Requirements:
1. You must be at least 13 to join us. This is because we range from ages 13-18 and we don't want parents and/or immature minors to cause us trouble.
2. You must have both a Discord Account and a Google Account. These are essential and we request once you join that you make an account.
3. You must be able to work professionally. Despite how friendly we are, we must recognise that we don't know each other personally and so must separate our personal lives from our online lives.
4. You must be able to work on deadlines as short as one week and self manage. We have systems in place to check up on you, However if you are not accountable for yourself the blame is on you.
Things to know:
1. We are a global group and have a range of timezones, so you will work with a range of people but you must speak english fluently!
2. This project is LGBTQ+ friendly and a few of the characters are LGBTQ+. Therefore, if you're not comfortable with that, we suggest not auditioning for the project.
3. We conduct an interview before you begin.
4. You need to agree to our code of conduct once your fully initiated.

The Project logline:
In the mediaeval fantasy setting of Oraclan, it has been 17 years after the outbreak of a deadly famine across the land caused by the powerful Emerald Queen. Oracle Witch Lavender, Snakepin Clan Warrior Madeline, and Celestrian Princess Scianna are forced to work together to prevent a war between the four kingdoms of the four magics, but soon discover there are demonic forces pulling the strings.

‘Warrior’ of the former Snakepin clan, Madeline is a sarcastic, confident and battle-ready character with a hidden desire for love and something to fill the hole left behind by her dead father and clan. She consistently allows herself to get caught up in competitions and methods of proving her worth and what left she has to live for, hence how she is easily manipulated and convinced of beliefs that aren’t true. However, a strong sense of justice for the endangered keeps her afloat. Prior to the series, she has a difficult experience with the captain of her pirate crew, but hides her pain with a consistent snark and sass that is half an act and half a coping mechanism for severe mental trauma and abuse. Madeline is skilled with a sword, bearing the one previously owned by her deceased father.

(To Lavender. Heartbroken by Lavender's pain.) I promise you, you don’t need to carry this burden alone. You’re smart. You’re beautiful. You’re worth far more than dirt. We will succeed in our mission. We can talk about the more important things later. For now, let’s save Scianna… and Gregory… and get out of here.
(Interjecting herself into the conversation.) I feel like I should add that Scianna is stuck in a giant box. (Sarcastic.) But of course, that’s not important compared to the literal Emerald Kingdom likely preparing to continue the famine.
Bitter yet with the most beautiful voice, Eris is the demon embodiment of the sin of Envy. She is one of the most popular entertainers in the Emerald Kingdom, writing and covering the most popular songs and performing at the most high class events. A sucker for fame. Yet, she holds onto a desperation and promise that one day, the Kingdom of Hell where she, Luci and the rest of her siblings originate from will one day be given prosperity by Luci. That dream is a lie, but her bitterness grows despite this.
