The Nightmare Within | A Roblox Survival Horror Game
Project Overview
A 1v5 survival horror game, in a similar vein to Dead By Daylight. in The Nightmare Within, you can either play as one of five Survivors, or play as the Hunter. The goals are simple, for the Survivors, find a way out of the place alive by any means necessary. For the Hunter, track down and kill all of the Survivors, one at a time, until they're all in the dirt once more. All of them are stuck within The Nightmare Realm, and must either work together to survive, or hunt until all are gone.
With a wide cast of characters, you can play and customize many characters with their own unique perks and abilities!
The main five survivors, Jaiden Wells, Kai Wells, Bryton Garrett, Logan Erickson and Billy Carmen are all based on me and my irl friends! I voice Jaiden, and my friend voices himself, Bryton.
We have an OFFICIAL Collaboration with Uncle Samsonite! Approved by Jake Bowen himself, Jake's Dad (and other characters from the Uncle Samsonite series, such as Steve, Isaac, and Jake) will be the survivor, and Uncle Samsonite will be added as a Hunter!
More Hunters and Survivors will be added, so keep an eye out on this project for when they get released!

The husband of Jaiden and the voice of reason of the main five survivors, Kai is the glue that holds everyone together. He's sweet, kind, and caring, and most importantly, he's amazing as keeping others alive. He's a trans-man, 20 years old, and kind of shy. He loves musical theater and loves listening to music in the downtime between games. He also has a lisp, which the other's tease him for from time to time. He's also an artist.

The hotheaded one of the main five survivors, he is the one who loves to distract the Hunter and keep his friends safe. He has a certain bluntness to his personality that the others both love...and despise. He does anything in his power necessary to keep his friend safe, no matter the cost. He has a monotone voice most of the time, unless he's putting emotion in, then he gets louder and lets his real voice shine. He's around 20, and is always thirsty and hungry. He's also a professional live streamer.

The wildcard of the main five, Billy spends his time doing whatever he can, whenever he can. If the group needs a job done, he's on it. If the group needs the Hunter distracted, he's on it. Reliable, yet can sometimes be a hothead when bossed around too much, he's always ready to help out his friends in a dire situation. He's 21 years old, and is unemployed.

Jake's Dad only wants to help his son, Jake, escape the horrors of Uncle Samsonite. He has a friendly attitude, and is always willing to help out when needed.

An indie rock guitarist and artist, Kendrick spends his time making music and hanging out with his friends. One night, his brother and his friend went missing in a car crash, and so he left home to try and find out what happened. When he got sucked into the Nightmare Realm with them, he followed them to a cabin, and picked up a spare guitar left there, and began to play his music. He canonically created the main theme song for the game. He is 22, and has a thick country accent.

A chilled out stoner, all he wanted to do was hang out with his friend Kyle that day. However, what he didn't know was that his friend had lost his mind, and dawned a mask and cloak to become a serial killer. Joshua is a very laid back man, he speaks kind of slowly, and has a deep voice that sounds as if he's constantly tired. He's around 22, and he works as an indie game developer.

A horrific Wendigo, this beast hunts and eats anything that's alive, mainly humans who unfortunately stumble into it's domain. It makes inhuman roars and growls, almost like an animal. The closest thing describable to it's noises is that of the Demogorgon from Stranger Things.

A disturbing entity that can mimic the voice and appearance of Survivors to lure them in for the kill. Nobody knows what it truly is, but the best guess anyone has ever had is that it's an alien from the deepest, darkest part of space. A part of space that should've never been seen. For the voice of this Hunter, you'll have to be able to do a Male voice, a Female voice, and a voice in-between, and able to layer them together at different times to create an awful mimicking of a human voice.

A sadistic and twist woman, she used to sew all day for her husband and child in 1960s France. Until one day, a group of rotten children had made her house go ablaze. Her child and husband died, leaving her burned beyond recognition. She hunted the culprits down, and tore them apart, sewing their limbs back one with different colored seams, and replacing their eyes with buttons, and their hair with yarn. She disappeared that night, and reappeared in The Nightmare Realm. She speaks with a low voice, rarely letting it go above a whisper, but when she yells, she's furious.

A ruthless pirate captain, he plundered from the english and the spanish. He was betrayed by one of his crewmates, and was shot in the heart when stranded on an island. He was turned into a ghost, and now haunts the Nightmare Realm in search of the man who killed him. He has a deep and raspy pirate voice, and is always bloodthirsty.

An obsessed fan girl, she's obsessed with the indie rock artist, Kendrick Garrett. When she found out he was married, she went berserk, and knew she had to end his life so they'd be together in spirit forever. Her real name is Wendy Tenn, and she's around 22 years old. She has a thick country accent, and is completely crazed.
