TMAODDC: Detective Lynn Yoster Recasting Call
Project Overview
Hello there!
This is a recasting call for a character in my animated show The Marvelous Adventures of Danny deComp! Unfortunately one of my voice actors could no longer be a part of the project, but as they say the show must go on. As such here is a casting call for the role of Detective Lynn Yoster. I am looking for someone who can kinda give something close to the original voice, however I am willing to compromise if it doesn't sound similar at all if I feel the voice can fit the character.
As of the time of me writing this I have not posted the casting call on youtube, as I have one more video I need to post before I do. Quick Rules:
Decent Mic Quality; doesn’t need to be a professional mic just not outstanding background noise.
Please be committed to taking the role, I would love to not have t o recast people a lot if ever just because I would love to keep their voice consistent throughout the entire series.
Gotta show that emotion man, Lynn is a character that will need to be able to yell, shout, and just be mad a lot.
Must be able to do long monologues. I know this may sound like a weird rule, but this is a murder mystery show with a LOT of explaining. As such most of the characters have long winded speeches that can be paragraphs long so just prepare for that.

(Not really a rule but a note) Just quick reminder that you don’t have to sound exactly like the original voice actor if at all, I would much prefer if that was the case, but If I feel your voice can still fit the character I am willing to compromise.

Detective Lynn Yoster, is a detective for the NBPD (Naybrookes Police Department.) He takes his job very seriously, and prides himself on his Detective title. He does not tolerate funny business or slacking off. Due to some events in his past he doesn’t show very much affection to the people he cares about, such as his partner Detective Gracey Goodmen.
Voice Notes:
Lynn’s Voice should be kinda gruff and deep, as if he is always angry/grumpy.
I would love to keep the British accent for this character, but as stated in the video the gruff deep voice is the important part not this. Even when he is showing other emotions, such as concern that gruffness and distant behavior should still kinda be there like he is always on edge
