The Little Girl and The Dragon - The Music Box, Vox Storia
Project Overview
Vox Storia is an idea that I started awhile ago. An idea that revolved around the thought of audio and the burning question, “what if?”.
What if I gave it a shot and created an audio production company that produced stories we wanted to hear. Stories that took the listener out of their world and placed them in ours.
The first show in the roster is, The Music Box, and the first story is, "The Little Girl and the Dragon". The scripts have been written, edited, and now are waiting for actors to fill the roles.
I am looking for 5 roles with the "Narrator" and "Little Girl" having the biggest parts. There are 5 episodes in this series with a running time of around 20 minutes in each episode.
You can work in a home studio, that's not a problem. The audio needs to be clean, recorded in MONO and exported in a .wav format.
Format for beginning of audition
State Name > Role > Equipment
Example: John Smith, reading for Narrator, I use a NT1A and Reaper.
Have fun and send as many takes as you want!

The Narrator is the eyes of the listener, letting them know what is happening in the world surrounding. What the characters are thinking, what tensions resides in a scene.

In a small village, down a winding street and across a small path there is a home. In this home there is a set of stairs, at the top of the stairs there is a door, and behind that door there is a little girl. This, is where our story… begins.
His fingers stretched towards the tower. Sifting through dirt and mud until he scratched against the foundation. The magic that poured from him twisted and pulled at the stone until they chipped and cracked under the pressure.

Wait. Where are you parents? You can't be out here by yourself. I mean, you shouldn't be. I mean, oh you get what I mean. Where are your parents?
I can't do it anymore. I can't go another step. Why are we even here, what are we supposed to do?
If you're deciding between squashing me or roasting me over a fire, I personally vote fire. In my village we would have a magnificent feast to mark the end of the harvest and it involved a fire. So I could tell you a recipe of two if you would like.
A quite dramatic Knight who has been cursed and turned into a Frog. He's not very happy about that.

I wasn’t born like this! I was cursed! Cursed with small height, flimsy arms, web hands… and feet. I was a tall man once.
If you cannot be persuaded to halt your adventure, I see no other option than to accompany you on this perilous quest. I could not live with myself if anything were to happen to you both and another adventure does sound appealing.
One does not often find themselves cursed. There are usually a series of events or misfortunes that lead to said cursing.
A retired adventurer, living as a teacher in a small village. She is a calm and caring figure in the Little Girls life.

Follow your heart, my love. It will show you the way.
Your father made me smile. I'll never forget the first time we met, but that's a story for later. Let's get you to bed. You've been up too late already.
