The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Manga Fandub (Audio Drama)
Project Overview

This is a project that I had been planning on for almost a year, and it got its official start over the past week and a half or so. I'm working on this alongside my OoT Manga Fandub and I'm so excited to work on this! The manga is by Akira Himekawa and it's based on the game "Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures" for Nintendo GameCube/Game Boy Advance.
All four Links have already been cast, with me as Blue Link; the arrogant, overconfident one. Now, we're just looking for Shadow Link, Vaati, Ganon, etc. as well as a ton of major and minor characters from both books.
Part of my inspiration to do this was from the creator of Four Swords Misadventures--and my friend: HadoukenDude.
For any minor characters, such as townspeople, DM me with your demo reel if you want to learn more because there are way too many to list.
You must have clear mic quality with no static or background noise. Must be able to scream with some characters.

Violet Link is the self-possessive Link of the four Links. He's booksmart, tactical, calm, collected, and sometimes unpredictable. He keeps to himself and rarely speaks unless it's insightful, and almost monotone. He rarely shows any emotion whatsoever unless it affects him directly. I'm looking for a voice that's almost like a prepubesent teen boy, but not quite deepened yet.

"He is a wind mage. That might not have been his true form."
*context: having "betrayed" the Links, working for Shadow Link--sinister undertones* "Of course I am. Don’t be so shocked. Lord Vaati has entrusted me with Death Mountain. Isn’t that great? If you would like to be my servants, I welcome you."
The Green Maiden is one of the six handmaidens who protects the Four Sword Sanctuary and acts as a servant to Princess Zelda. She guides the Links into the Tower of Winds when all the moadens are rescued.
By using the power of the unified Four Sword and shattering the barriers of darkness...you have released us.
With our combined powers...we can help you on your way!
Shadow Link is the dark/shadowy entity of the four Links. He's evil, sinister, and has quite a mischievous side to him. It's later revealed in the latter half of the manga that he hates the light and all he wanted was to be noticed; misunderstood by the four Links. He is responsible for awakening Vaati as well as destroying him in the end. He also takes a personal interest in Vio (Purple Link) during the course of the journey. He hates the light.
Voice Type: High-Pitched, between child and teen. All four Links have different voice pitches with Shadow Link having the highest pitch and Vio Link having the lowest pitch.
*evilly* Vaati is reborn! Thank you, Link! Next time, we’ll bury you! The fact that there are four of you will only make it easier! *evil laugh (doesn't have to totally match)* Bwa ha ha ha ha!
*sincere* You’re even more devious than I am! I’m serious, Vio (Vee-oh). For the first time...I feel like I have a real friend. Someone I can trust.
*cowering/shivering a little* Light!! I hate… the cursed… light!
Jago is a notorious bandit that Link comes across every once in a while. He appears at both the beginning and end of the manga.
*boisterous* Go on, lads! Take whatever you like!
*shocked, then furious* Y-you’re Link… the left-handed hero! B-but you’re j-just… a kid!
Link's father is the leader of the Knights of Hyrule. He is responsible for protecting Hyrule from all evil including thieves, bandits, etc. His son tends to home in on the action first before they have a chance to fight, which angers him. He possesses the Green Royal Jewel.
*At his wits end with Link, but trying to keep appearances* What are we to do? He’s skilled, but he’s arrogant and insubordinate. He doesn’t obey anyone… not even me, his captain and his father! You’re the only one he listens to. Won’t you help… Princess Zelda?
*Commanding* "The seal must have been broken! Don’t let the demons take the castle!"
The Blue Maiden is one of the six handmaidens who protects the Four Sword Sanctuary and acts as a servant to Princess Zelda. She offers the most wisdom to the Four Links when they are aimless and is the first to be rescued.
Voice Type: Any
*greeting after being rescued* Are you well, heroes?
*somber* Link, something awful has begun. A terrible ordeal. Darkness once again covers Hyrule, just as in times of legend. The shadow that took us was a phantom hero created by the evil demon.
*saying goodbye* Be careful, my four heroes. East… Travel toward the Eastern Sea. I sense another maiden within the Eastern Temple.
The Yellow Maiden is one of the six handmaidens who protects the Four Sword Sanctuary and acts as a servant to Princess Zelda. She gives the Links the Moon Pearl and is the second to be rescued.
Link… You must have… defeated the terrible monster stone, Arrghus! Wonderful! Thank you!
The Fairy is Red Link's companion when he becomes separated from his counterparts. It offers the Links useful advice as well as keeping them steered in the right direction. It's also the narrator.
Voice-Type: Any, as long as it's fitting for a small fairy.
*comforting* Cheer up, Red! Don’t cry! Look, a fresh print!
*A bit annoyed* Don’t you think you should...use the Fire Rod to melt him free?
*narrating* And that is how the darkness was defeated…and Hyrule knew only peace from now on.
Stone Arrghus is the boss of the Eastern Temple and the one responsible for sending all the children to the Dark World in Chapter 3.
Voice Type: Evil. Must be able to cry when its children are destroyed.
Welcome to the Dark World. But you’re early. Ten years too early to face me!
Stone Arrghus: *sobbing* I m-made all those little r-rocks! Now they’re g-gone! I’ll never see them again! Waaah!
Valensuela is one of the Four Knights of Hyrule. (The Blue Knight) He possesses the Blue Royal Jewel. He first appears in the manga as a processed soldier in the Dark World which Green Link must defeat on his own.
Voice Type: Any.
*troubled* What was I doing? I was some kind of monster! What’s happening? I’m a knight of Hyrule! I’ve sworn to protect the country and the royal family! How could I attack a fellow knight?
Link, we mustn’t forget that Vaati is not the only evil in the world!
Maybe the palace is where they’ve taken Princess Zelda!
Vaati is one of the main villains who Shadow Link freed. He's working under Ganon to destroy the world and turn it into total darkness/chaos.
Voice Type: Deep, ancient
The Four Swords are drawn together...and aimed against me! No matter! Bring your tiny flickering light...and watch as it disappears in the abysmal darkness!
*shocked* Th-the Dark Mirror! Shadow Link! Have you lost your mind?!
GEH HEH HEH HEH… I’ll swallow all four of you in one gulp!
Tingle is a wannabe fairy that Green Link encounters on Death Mountain under a boulder. He's quite an annoying little man whose quest is Force Gems. He will stop at nothing to gain Force Gems to become a true fairy, even if it means stealing Force Gems from Link and leaving him to die.
Voice Type: Obnoxious/Annoying, occasionally a stereotypical macho manly voice
I hereby declare...there are no Force Gems under that boulder...at all! *proudly* So says the one...and only...Tingle!
*aggressive, then giddy* "What?! Ooo! How dare you… Hey! Those clothes! They’re so cute! You look just like me! WE’RE BOTH WEARING GREEN!"
*dreamily* I’m collecting lots of Force Gems...so I can become a real fairy!" *over-the-top-manly voice* Get some too and you’ll be a real hero someday!
Ganon is the ultimate villain whom Vaati is ultimately working for. He captures Princess Zelda from the Tower of Winds and keeps her inside his dark/poison cloud, confronting the Links in the end.

*disguised as the Dark Cloud* As Lord Ganon commands. With the heroes’ defeat, Princess Zelda will be the last light in Hyrule. A true world of darkness begins with her demise.
Foolish princess! None of you have the power to defeat me!
*evil laugh*
