The King's Portal - Main Cast - An Original Gacha Club Series - Voice Acted and More
Project Overview
Introduction
Hello! I'm a young content creator who goes by Elvire online. A year ago, I created the premise of a fantasy Gacha series called "The King's Portal." Back then, this was meant to be a small project within my school. However, no progress was made in a long time and I decided to finally bring this project to life. Just know that the series may progress slowly due to the current running of another series I've partially casted.
In this series, I am looking for voice actors, artists, composers, writers, and possibly audio engineers. We need you to make an impact and bring this project to life. Whether you get accepted or not, each audition is taken into consideration with no people left ignored.
Short premise
Alex is a 13-year-old 7th grader who lives in an orphanage and doesn’t have many friends. However, they are unusually dedicated to adventures and love the thrill of risks. One day on a cool, windy night after a long day of school, they take a stroll outside of the orphanage. Surprisingly, they see a paper attached to a tree and they read it. It says: “Hello. I am the king of a magical kingdom. We need a healthy and agile young human to fulfill a dangerous journey of a fantastical treasure which was taken from my kingdom and caused chaos for a long time. Recently, my 12-year-old son went on an adventure to find out what happened to the treasure, and turns out, it was stolen by who we suspect a group of humans who found the teleportation gem to travel from this universe to ours. We do not know the weaknesses and strengths of their weapons, and therefore we need a human who can determine this and retrieve the treasure once and for all with the help of my son and some of my most trusted guards and fighters."
Tips if you feel like it
1. If you’re dehydrated, drink some water.
2. USE. A. MICROPHONE. Whether it’s a full-on studio mic or a headset (there are in-betweens, by the way), it’s way better than none.
3. Practice your lines over and over again. Choose your best takes.
4. You can say each line a few times, and your audition will still count.
5. Try to prevent breathing, clicks, and intense plosives.
6. Don't add any voice changers or anything that changes the tonality of your voice. Basic editing, however, is allowed and preferred.
(Optional) Try for multiple parts! Note that just because you don’t audition for a character, that doesn’t mean you can’t get that character. You might be casted a role that you didn’t audition for.

Alex is thirteen years old, as you know. They probably more of calm and somewhat intimidating voice. They're also not very emotional and will attempt to hide their emotions when frightened. Their gender is undecided.

Valda is also thirteen years old along with Alex. She talks in a louder, more boisterous voice and is pretty energetic, kind of like a foil to Alex. She will not hesitate to shout or show strong emotions if they're passionate.

~Probably shouts when feeling a strong emotion instead of being quiet.

James is an athletic twelve year old at the beginning of the story, but quickly turns thirteen. He is also the king's son (damn, look at the parallels. I'm not that different from last year). He suggested the idea of going on a journey to defeat the stealers of the treasure.

~Pretty funny. Basically a pretty cool nice guy. Make his voice welcoming and somewhat expressive.

(A bit nervous from surprise) Holy moly, you're good! At least for a pure human. You almost beat me there.
Katashi (lol cry about it /lh) is twelve years old and a prodigy in magic and fighting. There's not as much information as him as he's a new protagonist I didn't make last year. However, I know that he's cold and not social. As a child, he was raised to be tough despite his young age:
~The only emotions in his audition lines are pretty much deadpan, serious, and a hint of sarcasm.
~He kinda mumbles at times and talks quietly. Don't overdo this, though! I want to hear you.
~Japanese accents will also be considered along with the listed one

(Deadpan) This is my daily routine. Sleep. Eat. Train. Go to school. Come back. Eat. Train. Repeat. What are hobbies, anyway?
