Project Overview
When a college professor’s reflection on daily discrimination is interrupted by a chilling intruder, she is forced into a waking nightmare where she's left to fight for survival against an unrelenting terror from her past.

Deadlines are fairly flexible, but would generally like to have lines by two weeks of casting (the quicker, the better!). If you don’t think you can meet this deadline, please don’t audition. Recording will be done remotely and asynchronously.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be 13+ to audition
Please be sure your recording doesn’t have any background noise. Good quality mic is recommended.
Must have discord to communicate (or be willing to create an account)
Please include your discord username in your audition.
When auditioning, please READ ALL THREE LINES.
Please feel free to experiment when recording. Do variations of the lines, ad-lib, all is welcome, interpret the characters your way.

Dad!!! I just started working here a year ago. I still have a long ways to go. Like six more years. Assuming I last another six years, let alone another six months.
(hopelessly) Tell me something I don’t know. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but those words really hurt, mom. Like a punch to the gut. True or not, it made me feel like my skills, knowledge and experience weren’t valued. That I was just hired simply because of the way I looked… and nothing more.
(angrily) I don’t speak American. But I do speak English!

The owner of a new anime goods shop in the town Masami lives in. Later protects Masami during a home invasion.

Male, 17
A boy who initially bullies Masami at a restaurant but later becomes her lifesaver. The younger brother of Sean Barker.

A criminology professor at the college Masami works at. Masami’s rival—hypercompetitive, always bullying Masami and trying to “one-up” her at work.
