Rachel goes above and beyond. I could just leave it at that, but I won't. She has approached me for multiple projects now at the time of writing this out, from simple one-part roles to a Doctor in a FNV mod. Rachel Sun is a great voice actor who submits high-quality audio well within any reasonable time-frame she is given.
This is, of course, all the standard requirements you expect in a voice actor, but what makes her stand out against many other voice actors I have worked with, is the care she puts into her work. She spent a couple of weeks with me (sending many test voice lines to me), making sure she understood the character and the ideas, that I had, for how to portray them, and not only did she take my thoughts on board, when acting the part, she also suggested ways of injecting something of herself into the character to make them sound and feel that much more real and identifiable against the other characters. She even re-recorded the entire thing of her own volition, due to her being only 95% happy with the result! As you can tell, she is great at giving suggestions and saying what she thinks, and she is more than happy to do extra work to make sure everything is done perfectly.
I very much hope to work with Rachel (and her mini-director Nano!) again in the future! Thank you so much, Rachel, for being so brilliant!
