The Hollow Child - 2D Animated Graduate Film
Project Overview
Hello! I'm looking for a voice actor to portray a gruff and dying werewolf guy in my 2D animated graduate film 'The Hollow Child'. The film contains no clear dialogue, but the character communicates entirely through sounds and vocalisations to convey his pain and emotional state.
Story Synopsis:
Wounded and cursed, a werewolf flees deep into the
forest, seeking solitude for his deteriorating health.
There, he encounters a strange child, who begins to
follow him with childish persistence. Although unusual,
she appears harmless, yet there is an eerie
atmosphere that clings to her. She offers him an
unsettling gift, leading the man to a horrifying
realisation about her true nature. Death has followed
him all throughout the forest, and she is it’s cause. He
understands that he is not escaping his fate, but
walking straight toward it. She is a force of nature,
not cruel, only inevitable.

The film contains no dialogue, however the character will communicate entirely through vocalisations, and expressive sounds to convey his pain and emotion.
Beginning his journey through limbo, he is gaurded, bitter, worn down, and wounded. His voice should reflect someone trying to stay composed, trying to hide their pain, trying to resist succumbing to their wounds. He should sound a bit gruff, tense, breathy, and gaurded, trying to hold back his pain rather than dramatising it.
His vocal delivery will help ground the film and add weight to the character.
