Project Overview
Author's Introduction
Hey everyone! Thank you for taking interest in my series. I'm a self-taught artist with a lot of story ideas but this is by far my biggest. I love anime and animals, oh and also horror so I guess that explains this project.
Also, I'm currently working and also a college student who will transition to the next phase of life soon. That said, please give me some leniency as I review your auditions as my responses may be delayed.
This casting call is meant to be far in advance of consistent production. So, if you're selected and don't receive instructions right away don't fret thing are underway they'll just take a while.
Project PrefaceThis is a series that I've been working on since I was 13, and it has (thankfully) went through many revisions since then. It was an animated series at first but it is now being planned as a voiced comic. As stated, this series is still very much in production. I'm still finalizing designs, story arcs and things of that nature. With that in mind, you can choose to opt out at anytime. I understand life circumstances change. Just let me know.
About The Heroes of MosaiThe rating for this series is Mature 17+. The show will contain strong language, sexual content, blood/gore and disturbing imagery. Please refrain from auditioning if your are under 18.
The World of MosaiThe Heroes of Mosai is an action/adventure horror comic. It takes place on an alien planet called Mosai where the most powerful people (Kagays) are tasked with defending the planet from demons that arrive every 100 years. There's also something called the "4 favors" which are responsible for giving the characters their elemental powers and human forms.
Cast ExpectationsOnce you're cast we'll be using Discord and email for communication, sharing scripts, storyboards, etc,. The Discord server will be exclusive to cast members and Patreon supporters. There are different deadlines and pay rates for different role types. Minor and unnamed characters will have less lines. Here are the accurate pay rates:
2 weeks:
Voice Actors - $1/line with a $10 minimum
Concept Artists
3 weeks:
Promotional Video editor - $50/5 videos
The Heroes of Mosai is an original adventure/action horror comic series that will be hosted on YouTube(channel link). As a part of the cast, you will be credited at the end of each episode you're apart of and have your social media linked in the description of the video. It will be a long running series will likely take over a decade to complete. The comic is ongoing and you can read what's there so far here.

Charm is the princess of Mosai, as the next-in-line Mystic Kagay she's looked up to by everyone and is held in the highest regard as the future savior of Mosai. She has enjoyed a life of privilege living in Misutikku castle, but it has also brought her much solitude as she was rarely allowed to leave. She's hopeful, naive, a bit entitled and wants more than anything to see the world she's dreamed and read about since childhood.

So, you've finally come to your senses.
Charm is conflicted, she knows leaving is for the better but doing so would mean leaving someone she cares for behind.
CHARM
Yeah... I guess so. I mean, if there really are people out there suffering, I should go and help them, right?

Hakai, your younger brother is yelling at the top of his lungs chasing a creature.
Charm is annoyed.
CHARM
Not this again... How many times have I told him not to go around screaming bloody murder early in the morning when everyone is trying to sleep?
3)
Charm sees a store she's extremely familiar with. She's brimming with excitement.
CHARM
Oh. My. Mosaiya! Is that the shop of the great embroiderer Rosey Hills? I've ordered dresses from her before but I've always wanted to see her store!
4)
Charm's actions have had dire consequences on the town she was trying to help. She's emotional torn over it and begins sobbing.
CHARM
I just... wanted to help people. I didn't know it would lead to... this. I don't know if I can do this. I don't know if I can be the hero people want me to be.

GAURD 1 knocks on the princesses door, he projects his voice so she can hear him.

GAURD 1
Princess Charm! Queen Alera requests your presence.
2)
He breaks down the door and finds the princess gone with the window open. He panics and runs to alert the other guards.
GAURD 1
(yelling)
The princess has been kidnapped! Sound the alarm!

The guard is out with his search party looking for the princess.
GAURD 2
Spread out! They couldn't be far.

The princess' scream is heard in the forest.

(sighs)

Two distinct voices are needed for this one. One normal lively voice and one dead, emotionless, deep resonate toned. I'll mark the difference with NORMAL or DEAD. Can either be adult male or young adult male on the mid to deep voice range.

You call out to your teammates, losing patience.
TAYIR - NORMAL
(yelling)
Did you all hear me? I said she's not here!
2)
Your teammates are playfighting. You casually reprimand them.
TAYIR - NORMAL
You guy's are ridiculous. Keep messing around like that and we'll fail our next mission.
3)
TAYIR - DEAD
Doctor said it was a brain injury. Damaging but not fatal. I'm sure I'll be fine.
4)
Your teammates are afraid to take a dangerous mission. You go to offer your help.
TAYIR - DEAD
I'll take the mission if you won't. I'm not hurt that bad. I think I can handle it.
