A remake of the original webcomic from DeviantArt and inspired by the official mascot and avatar of GCS, The Golden Pirate presents a whole new pirate adventure inspired by adventures on Uncharted Waters Online. The Golden Pirate has the reputation of being the richest and longest lived pirates. When it comes time for recruiting, the Golden Pirate recruits thieves being held prisoner at Port Royal. The thieves must learn to grow up as they continue to sail with the Golden Pirate to new worlds and new fortunes, and to face their new enemies with incredible bravery.
In the "Adventures in the Caribbean", The Golden Pirate recruits two new teenagers named Kasper and Bert. Along their journey, they stumbled upon a very young Aztec prince who is in distress from the Spanish navy. Along their quest, Kasper and Bert, along with the Golden Pirate's help, gets the Aztec prince back to his family and to find the legendary city of gold!
Recruiting begins immediately.

Kasper lives in the streets of Port Royal as a thief until the Golden Pirate recruits him in the first episode
Even though he is a thief, he is a very good kid. Only reason he is a thief is that he grew up as an orphan and has no other means to take care of himself.
Kasper is 15 years old and has some interest in the sea. He also believes in someone like the Golden Pirate to exist while his peers thinks he is a fantasy.
Kasper: (in shock as he overhears an old sailor mentioning Golden Pirate): The....The Golden Pirate?! He's real!!
Kasper: (talking to Golden Pirate after recruiting; trying convince him to go back to Port Royal): We...We have to go back. Even though Bert has been a bully, he was still my friend and we have to save him!
Kasper: (being friendly to the young Aztec boy prince; introducing himself) It's very nice to meet you! You can call me Kasper!
Bert, like Kasper, lives in the streets of Port Royal as a thief until the Golden Pirate recruits him
Bert was also an orphan like Kasper, but unlike Kasper, he is a very pessimistic individual. Bert actually grew up as best friends with Kasper until money moved them apart when they were 10.
Bert is 15 years old, same age as Kasper. He doesn't believe in the Golden Pirate, at least in the beginning, and makes fun of Kasper for believing in this "fairy tale". He often teases him and calls him "Golden Nerd" in the beginning of the series.
American or British accent should be fine for this role.
Bert: (irritated; disbelief; talking to Kasper) Why should I join you and your stupid fantasies?!
Bert: (already saved and recruited by the Golden Pirate; talking to Kasper while the Aztec boy prince causes trouble on the ship; smiling): Ten seconds on the Taurus and the kid is already causing some trouble.
Bert: (in cave with crew to find city of gold; noticed strange statue; shocked; surprised) Look! Seriously! That statue's eyes just moved!
Ezra is the first mate of the Taurus and the Golden Pirate's right hand man
Ezra was born into slavery and worked on the farms outside of Kingston, Jamaica before the man known as the Golden Pirate founded him. When he was 18 years old, the Golden Pirate, who was the same age, saved him and stayed by his side since.
He is nearly 30 years old and still strong.
He should sound strong, but friendly
Ezra: (friendly greeting as he welcomes Kasper on board for the first time) Welcome on board the Taurus, Friend!
Ezra: (exclaiming; repeating Golden Pirate's orders): Set the sails! Get a move on you bunch of idlers! Get the Taurus up to speed!
The female companion to the Golden Pirate.
She was the daughter of an abusive drunken blacksmith in Santiago. After the Golden Pirate found her at 18, same age as the Golden Pirate, she decided to join him and never shed a tear since.
She is very tough. Possibly one of the toughest on the Taurus. She is also a great blacksmith and great at making and repairing weapons.
She is 29 years old with heavy ambition
Spanish accent is preferred, but American is satisfactory
Angelica: (talking with Golden Pirate; concern) The Spanish is after this prince because they are also after the city of gold. I think this is a very dangerous mission.
Angelica: (smiling; talking with Golden Pirate) Knowing you, there's no stopping.
Topiltzin aka Toppy is the Aztec boy prince who the Golden Pirate decides to stop the Taurus and allow Kasper to save him from a flotsam.
Toppy can act a bit spoiled, but is very energetic and enjoys having fun. Despite on acting spoiled and tough, he is still a good kid and the Golden Pirate and his men continues to protect him from the Spanish as they find their way to bring him back home.
American is preferred, but any accent will be satisfactory
Toppy: (introduces himself; very proud) My name is Topiltzin! The prince of Tenochtitlan!
Toppy: (starts to look around the ship; cheeky; grin; talking to Kasper) So...you live here! What sort of cool things do you do around here?
British Captain is an honourable man and serves as a temporary antagonist in the beginning while keeping Kasper, and eventually Bert, from escaping and joining with the Golden Pirate.
Either British or American accent is satisfactory
British Captain: (spots Kasper) Ah! So you are the thief everyone has been talking about? I shall arrest you and report you to the governor.
British Captain: (sailing in fog; ship spotted in the distance; commanding) Turn out all lights men and let us see their colours!
British soldiers is a minor role involving communication with the British Captain.
Either British or American accent is fine for this role.
British Soldier: (spots ship in the distance) Captain! Ship spotted on the horizon!
British Soldier: (arrests Bert; takes him away) Come! We are going to put you away for a very long time!
La Buse (known as the Buzzard) is the main pirate antagonist in the series who also wants to find the legendary city of gold for his own greed.
He is a French pirate who is always against the Golden Pirate. During the series he always tries to find a way to finish the Golden Pirate and take his spoils, as well as the Aztec boy prince, to get to the legendary city of gold.
He should have a French accent.
La Buse: (lying; cunning; talking to the Aztec boy prince) Oh! I hate that Golden Pirate! He always steals my treasure! I am a pirate hunter, my boy, and I can always assure that I can help capture the Golden Pirate and his crew for your troubles, and I can take you home safely.
La Buse: (stops lying after bringing the Aztec boy on his ship; reveals colours) My boy! I believe we haven't been introduced a bit more "properly". My name is Olivier Levasseur otherwise known as La Buse! (evil laugh; then angry; commanding) Boys! Take this boy to the brig.
La Buse's not-so-bright minion.
Minor character used to accompany La Buse to obey his evil commands.
American is preferred, but any accent will do.
Must sound comedic.
Minion 1: Right away, Captain!

Aztec King: (happy; glad; ecstatic about his son's return) Topiltzin! My son has returned! (hugs Topiltzin)
