Hi there, This is Jakey once again back for another My Hero Academia Podfic.
This project is going to basically be an audiobook retelling of the fanfiction. Why am I on Fire? by Yojimbra
This is a fan project being done for fun. The production will, for the most part, consist of asking the VA's to read lines needed with the large bulk of the work going to the Protagonists who is going to be narrating their sections. This is going to be a collaborative project so feel free to be as active as you'd like! The story is currently in progress.
The story content itself consists of an average man waking up in the body of Todoroki Enji. Also known as Endeavour the Number 2 hero. Now, he must struggle to adapt to being one of the top heroes in Japan while trying to fix his new home life and try to ensure a better future.
For the most part, the voice acting most needed will be Endeavour narrating his thoughts. Changes will be made to the story to make it suitable for all audiences and for the comfort of the voice actors. Voices from separate characters are still very important. Just have a decent mic and chances are there a character you'll suit just great.
More characters will be added as we need them! Make sure to check back to see if anyone you want is available.

Endeavor in this story is almost nothing like his canon counterpart mainly because he isn't the same person. This is just a regular dude in his body trying to make it work. A voice that's a mix of his deep serious canon while still being able to hit comedic notes would be ideal. Enji is also the main narrator of the story.
[Confusion from waking up on time and getting a full nights rest]
Also, why the hell did I actually feel well-rested? That was actually new. No headache, no grogginess, just, actually being fucking awake. The fuck?
[Calmly explaining why the child is watching tv]
“He asked if he could watch cartoons with Fuyumi and I said yes.” I scratched the back of my head, turning away from her as I felt an odd combination of adoration and guilt as I looked at her.
[Laughter into speaking]
“Sounds good! Now hurry up and get to the kitchen, there's pancakes.”
Rei starts out much like her canon self in the show but evolves into a more comedic and humorous role as Enji's happy wife.
[Voice nervous and fearful]
“Why are you here?”
[Relaxed, happy and content]
“That’s up to you, I’ll be down for anything tonight, but for now I think we need to deal with our kids.”
[However, you see fit.]
"I want ice cream. Something with brownie.
and cookies.
and caramel."
In this story, Touya Todoroki is a child pretty much just being a cute kid. Fairly simple
[Confused and a little nervous]
“Why are you screaming? Didn’t you want to train me?”
[Happy and optimistic]
“I don’t know what happened dad but you’re awesome today! After breakfast, can we train? I wanna be a hero like All Might one day!”

Fuyumi is a child in this story and doesn't talk much at the start so just sound like a toddler and you'll be alright.
“Pancake!”
“Mama!”
*Toddler noises*
All Might in this story is mostly the same as his canon self and this takes place before his incident.
“Endeavour! Sorry I missed your call earlier! I was fighting a villain and was a bit distracted!”
[Making plans to meet a friend]
“Certainly! I know just the place! We can even do lunch if you prefer. How about at—”

Nezu in this story is mostly the same as his canon self with some played-up elements of humour and his mild crazyness.
“Well then, have a seat, and let’s begin, shall we? I must say, I’m rather excited now that I’ve spoken to you. There must be so much on your mind for you to want to meet with all Might.”
“Why are you going so slow? You’re not using the whole speedometer.”

Only a few lines as a mentor to All Might and Enji.
[Angry and annoyed]
“You two would have been here quicker if you ran here! So now we’re going to run around the lake! Get going!”
Various other characters and a few original characters show up so feel free to try out for any that show up later.
