The Cozy Cactus (Featured Guest Lineup)
Project Overview
Hello everyone! This casting call is for our audio podcast “The Cozy Cactus”, the podcast's main initiative is to provide a space for listeners to engage and enjoy stories from a variety of people from different backgrounds and talents. This podcast includes anecdotes from the hosts and guests about various topics including, their daily lives, childhood, gaming, tv shows, and music. We are casting for a collection of talents ages 17-27 to be featured on the show, so there are a wide variety of roles for those interested in working on this project with us.
PODCAST OVERVIEW
The Cozy Cactus is an audio podcast that aims to provide a safe space for listeners to engage and enjoy stories from a variety of people from different backgrounds and talents, and hopefully be inspired to be creative and put themselves out in the world for potential jobs. This podcast will discuss a variety of topics that may range from very innocent discussions to discussions about mental health and personal struggles.
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The initial deadline for auditions is April 20th, 2024. We'll reach out to those who have been selected to join the guest lineup of our podcast as soon as your audition has been reviewed by our team. Please keep in mind your own schedules for other projects when you are auditioning, and let us know if any changes need to be made to accommodate your needs in any way.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect to be greeted by Sheep, Heir, and the Podcast Team when you are accepted onto guest lineup. For all guests, expect to be asked about details of your life and your experiences, and get to know our hosts a little before we record your episode. We will primarily be using Discord or Instagram to communicate with guests and give out information about the podcast. If you are unfamiliar with either of these applications, you can still audition, however, we strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with our hosts and fellow guests. Even if we do not select you for a guest role, we would absolutely love for you to still tune into the podcast and show support for others in our community.
WHAT WE ASK OF YOU
First and foremost, have fun. It is our pleasure to bring talents from several different mediums together to create something truly phenomenal and that we are proud of, but none of it means anything if the people involved aren't passionate about what is being produced. If there are any problems with the content or something you discussed in an episode of the podcast, we will gladly take feedback and edit whatever you need us to for any reason.

Looking for around 15-25 guests for podcast episodes. This role would be for those who would be interested in having a featured guest spot on the podcast talking about their current projects and other endeavors that they are working on, as well as anecdotes from their lives. All you need is to be charismatic and able to have a comfortable discussion with others on the podcast about topics. Please leave your discord username in the description of your audition.

Looking for guests with special/informed knowledge about topics relating to mental health, education, and other topics to give an informed perspective on these topics for podcast episodes. We understand that several topics that we may cover will be of a sensitive nature and we would like to be able to provide our listeners with informed perspectives from professionals/people that work within these sensitive areas/topics.
