About The Circus of Dismay: Chap 1
Hello Everyone! This Casting call is for Chapter 1 of “The Circus of Dismay”. Our studio CyberSphere is producing a indie Survival Horror / Adventure video game based off the works of yours truly, Giovanni A.!
This game is Mostly about trying to survive the horrors of the circus while exploring around and uncovering dark secrets.
Some of the material is inspired by projects such as
FNAF: SECURITY BREACH
RESIDENT EVIL: VILLAGE
And much more!
We’re Casting for a Slew of voices to help bring this projects first chapter to life!
Folks who are cast for main or sidekick roles, we ask that you be able to do some smaller roles if needed, and that you be able to re-voice lines if necessary.
Folks who are cast for non-lead roles,This should be pretty simple.
ALL Roles are in english only. Voice actors must be comfortable with swearing and, well, screaming.
for main roles, payment will be given out after the project is completed. This may take up to multiple years to complete due to scripting, modeling, etc.
For minor / non-lead roles, Payment will be given out at the same time as the main roles.

The Deadline for auditions is: Indefinite. Feel free to audition at your leisure!
Deadline MAY be extended if need-be.
We will notify any voice actors who have been cast in roles within approximately 2-4 business days.
—— What To Expect:
Expect to be warmly Greeted by our Storywriter, Giovanni upon auditioning.
We primarily Communicate through discord, So if you are unfamiliar with Discord, you may audition, but we Highly, HIGHLY Recommend you become familiar with the platform before doing so.
—— What we ask of you:
• First and foremost, Have fun. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, and enjoyable workspace. This means no harassing other actors. Its always important to be passionate about your work.
• Please submit Clean recordings. This means no fans, air conditioners, or screeching toddlers in the background. Speaking of clean, Please leave the audio effects up to our team. this means no voice effects on your lines upon submission. If you have a good program, And would like to test out the effects on your lines to see if they fit our concept, Please let us know!
• Feel free to cut your lines down to your best / favorite takes. Don‘t be afraid to be proud! Three is typically the golden standard, So try and keep it to three or four takes. :) However please remove any takes you don’t want in the game.
• Please submit your recordings in .WAV file format to our discord server, Which will be provided after casting. If the file is too large to submit through discord, Please let us know.
• Line Re-Do’s. - Where we occasionally ask for line re-do’s, We do so sparingly. We know how hard you work on lines and we would hate to waste your time with re-doing a line we could easily fix through audio editing.
• The Long Run. - Finally, since this project will span multiple years, we‘d like to cast people who are able to stick around with us for a while. we’re very proud of the team we’ve built so far, and when starting a new project or chapter, we may return to voice actors we’ve worked with in the past.

LEAD ROLE: This is the character that the player plays as.
He has a bad attitude and is generally pretty cocky and rude. like a Typical grumpy teenage / young adult boy.

This character is the MAIN ANTAGONIST of the ENTIRE SERIES.
Personality: On Stage, he’s A peppy, Goofy, Endearing kinda guy. But behind closed doors, He‘s Cold, Stoic, Manipulative, Quick to anger, And A smooth talker.
Age: Mid-Late 40’s
Voice Description: Pretty Deep and Frankly, Quite brooding. Like listed above, He’s a smooth talker. Knows how to play the cards right to get what he wants.

Personality: Typical rough and tumble kinda dude. Rough sounding deep voice. Usually pretty nice, But comes off as bein a big ol grump.

This role is as an Assistant / Co-Writer for “The Circus of Dismay.” You will be working with our Founder “Giovanni”. Please try not to stray too terribly far from the already existing idea for this game, As we just need help smoothing things out story-wise.
