They all deserved to be there, all 12 of them. Criminals, they said, the bottom of the barrel low lives, They were children, sent to this trash heap the size of an island. They were to remain there for the duration of their punishment. They had to survive on their own, the only contact with the outside world is a food parcel sent once every week. They need to tolerate each other and survive long enough to see the real world again... If they can. To some, this was a punishment, to others, this was a challenge. To them all, it was the lighter choice.
They need to survive as a group, which means they need to learn to deal with each other and quick. Will these 12 kids survive this punishment? We can only hope.
Hello all, this is a cyberpunk podcast following 12 delinquents. This podcast will be approx 10 episodes long and will contain some heavy topics such as abuse, violence, self-harm and will contain cursing. I would prefer 13+ actors due to these warnings. Please be aware that these topics may come up in your dialogue if you are selected.
Before we finish up I have some rules,
1) Please be committed if you are selected. This doesn't mean quit your job for this or anything, but please be aware of when scripts are sent out and when your lines are due. If you will be late with lines, shoot me a message. Life gets busy and I get it.
2) Be civil to others. I am a Nonbinary individual and any racism, sexism and homophobia or transphobia will not be tolerated.
3) Have fun, this is a passion project for me, and I hope if you audition and are selected you enjoy your time!
4) Finally please have a discord or an email, If you are selected I will send you both a discord link and an email, tell me which one you will be using so I can keep track.

Disut is a 13-year-old boy who is sarcastic and timid due to his mother being in an accident at a young age. He is in the heap for theft and breaking and entering. He mistrusts the others and really only wants his own survival at first, but soon he becomes close friends with Kizas and Banmor.
I am both shocked and amazed that you managed to survive.
We should designate a leader, apparently, there are weird animals that like to hunt anything here.
Rylor is a 10-year-old girl who is far too kind and naive for her upbringing. She has faced abuse from her father, who she later killed in an act of self-defence though her mother believes she is guilty due to her fanatic love of her husband. Rylor wants everyone to get along, she thinks they’ll do better together, and she becomes close with Ortar, who she thinks of as a sibling. And Aose who becomes a friend.

Elmine is a 16-year-old girl who is naturally anxious and very creative. Elmine was arrested for attempting to hack into government databases in an attempt to find information about her brother who had gone into the military and hadn’t sent anything in a long time. She hates her role as a leader at first and only starts to tolerate her position when she sees how she’s helping the other kids. She and Isess become good friends… and maybe something more. And Thok who reminds her of her brother.

Cershye is a 19-year-old who is kind and empathetic, he was arrested for assaulting a boy who was blackmailing him with photos of him and his ex-boyfriend from another sector, something his parents would kill him for. He wants to ensure the safety of the younger kids, even at the cost of himself. He becomes close with Mitund and Ortar.

Banmor is a 14-year-old who was arrested for possession of drugs, drugs that were planted on them by their parents so they would take the fall. They are shy and intelligent, eventually, Disut and Veran get them to open up.
Note: This Character is Genderfluid and while anyone can audition I would prefer a Genderfluid or Gender non-conforming Voice actor

Kizas is a 12 year old girl who is loud and cunning. She was arrested for repeated minor assaults, starting fights and not stopping. She's abrasive and wants to be a leader like the older kids but eventually Disut and Isess get her to mellow out.

Aose is a 12-year-old boy, he is perceptive and distant, he was arrested for arson that could have harmed others. Though that wasn't his plan. He becomes close with Rylor and Veran who understand his desire for distance.

Mitud is a 15-year-old girl, she is decisive and self- critical. She committed identity fraud to get revenge on her father who abandoned her, and to become more financially stable. She doesn’t want to associate with anyone, she thinks they're all horrible people, but she slowly comes around to Thok and Cershye

Veran is a 12-year-old boy, he is meek and driven. He committed prescription forgery to gain access to drugs for self-medication when his parents refused to. He slowly begins to trust Aose and Banmor

Isess is a 17 year old girl, she is confident and proud, she was caught as a prostitute trying to pay to get into school. She is egocentric at first but Emline teaches her to chill and Kizas encourages her when the time is right.

Thok is a 14-year-old boy who was arrested for repeated propagandic vandalism. He is creative and cruel and he doesn’t understand why his propaganda is wrong. He dislikes the others for their blind faith but Emline and Mitud show him the error of his ways.
The only reason this place exists is so the government can remind us of our past.
