The Asteroid Belt is an interstellar race pitting races from across the universe head-to-head in an high-speed high-risk showdown for the ultimate bragging rights in the universe. The winner not only brings limitless glory to themselves, but their homeworld. For some the race is about testing their skills, for some they yearn to bring glory to their homeworld for the first time, others want all the riches for themselves. Combining space travel, ground combat, and the competitors imaginations, The Asteroid Belt is just as just dangerous as it is glorious. The Asteroid Belt is a combination of Drama and Comedy, think of any well-known anime!

Female/20 years-old
Riley is the daughter of the winner of the 9th Asteroid Belt Ben Ferris, she plans to enter the race as a legacy, and is the first human female to race in 450 years. Riley is driven, head-strong, and short tempered. She carries a lot of emotional baggage deep in her soul.

Jude is one of the top seeded racers to win The Asteroid Belt. Jude, while racing for himself is looking to bring glory to his homeworld Bajael attempting to become the first belt winner in history. When in the public eye Jude is arrogant, cocky, and, very aware of his popularity with females.
When you think about the world of competitive racing, whose name comes to your mind? Jude Eyon. Fifty years ago it was all Ben Ferris, Deimos, Ben Ferris, Deimos, but now, no one is better than Jude Eyon.
Riley, you've never actually been in a race you know.
If I can't stop you, I may as well at least make sure you stand a chance.
Deimos is the most decorated racer in the history of the universe. Being from Planet Meroxidor, his race has an extremely long life-span. Deimos won the 6th, 7th, and 8th Asteroid Belts, putting him well over 150 Earth Years old. Demios is hyper violent and will do whatever it takes to reclaim his glory in the 10th race.

Female/Purple Humanoid Alien
Tabula is a surfer girl from a water planet. She speaks in the stereotypical “surfer slang” and is easily the most easy-going racer in the entire race. Tabula is the only racer who can breath in space, and in lieu of a spaceship rides an energy powered surf board. Actress who plays her needs to have great comedic timing.
What's up Universe! It's your Surf Bunny, the radical racer, Tabula Tubular! This is the 10th anniversary of the Asteroid Belt and it's going to be primo mondo!
I vow to give the other racers a sand facial, and a belly full of Neptune Cocktail!
Genderless/Robot
EJ is a spunky spherical flying robot who serves as the in-field reporter for The Asteroid Belt. EJ is spunky, energetic, and a tiny bit manic! Please send in raw lines, EJ’s voice will be altered in production, but for audition purposes I want them raw.
Quite the turnout for this race! Sirena the notorious pirate captain of The Sea Queen! Lowe-Rah of planet Garuda, pilot of The Starbird, Kirk Stewart is climbing into his ship, The Entrepid!
Maybe he cannot hear me through the mask? Maybe he is deaf! Oh no no no no! I do not have hands, and therefore cannot sign to him! I AM SO INSULTING!!

Male/Werewolf Like Humanoid Alien
Lobo is a rough and tumble hunter. The first of his werewolf like race to enter The Asteroid Belt. Lobo though powerful, and violent, will always attack from the front. He is an extremely prideful warrior and racer.
I'm not here to talk about how proud I am to be the first wolf in the pack to make it here. I'm here to prove that I am the deadliest, fastest, and most intense wolf in the pack.

Female/Humanoid Space Pirate
Sirena is one of the most unique racers in The Asteroid Belt. Though not the most physically powerful, her brain brings her a strong edge in races. Her voice has a very unique sound to it, as she is often found speaking in rhyme.
Aye, as the Pirate Queen, I have many a machine. From something green, to something mean, and everything in between!
That's very good little brain, and ignore junior he is such a pain! When the Pirate Queen is champion, the crew will dine on fish and rampion!
I shall set sails with my goal in sight, I shall race and fight with all my might!
