Project Overview
Current deadline: June 22nd. A few talents have asked for an extension due to being on vacation/oversees, so the casting director for this project and I will be keeping auditions open until these talents are able to submit!
Original deadline: June 10th.

This project will be relatively short-term or long-term depending on your preference. Once you are casted and once you join the server, you will be given all of your scripts ahead of time to record at your own pace.
Good, clear audio quality is preferred. Please no muffled audio, echos, white noise, static, etc. Some exceptions may be made if it is something that can be fixable.
You will NEED a discord account. There are no exceptions. Please understand that I will NOT be doing live direction/voice calls over discord due to personal circumstances and scheduling conflictions.
Having 2 takes per line is preferred, but NOT required.
Please do not slate or introduce yourself your auditions. If you wish to include this information that's fine, I'd love to get to know you but please include it in the notes/comments of your audition. If you need to explain something, please do it in the notes as well.
Lastly, there is a mandatory interview for every VA called Meet the Cast. If you will not be comfortable with this, please do not audition. The interview is scripted, so if you don't feel too comfortable talking about yourself, there ARE other discussion topics you may use. Link to the Meet the Cast series.. The Meet the Cast will only be optional for behind the scenes crew, such as artists, editors, etc. if they are not comfortable. But it will be mandatory for the voice cast.
Muriel, Julian, Faust, and Nadia have all been casted and will not appear here.

The director for our Honkai Star Rail project is looking for extra assistance! His name is Ako Zorrono and is on casting call club as well.

The parody/skit asmr writers team is NOT specific to the The Arcana project. It is a GENERAL project for all of the projects we are running on the team. The other projects we are running on the team are Honkai Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Cinderella Phenomenon, Lost Alice, Wizardess Heart, The Arcana, and more. The purpose of this team is to create very short, whacky scripts that are parody/skits for ASMRs to help the channel produce more entertaining original content. For those interested, please include some of your writing samples (Comedy preferred). Please know that we will require this team to be active, and have at least 1 script turned in per month. 2 is preferred, but I understand that we all have lives therefore the requirement will be at least 1 script. We are looking for writers of all skill levels with an interest in participating in our skit project.

An 18+ VA is preferred because in one of the comics we have for her she does say an innuendo joke. However, if the VA is underage or uncomfortable with that joke we can cut the comic or have someone else voice it.
Portia Devorak is Nadia's favorite and most trustworthy maid. She's an energetic and talkative person who adores drama and gossip. Throughout the story she becomes a friend to the player and encourages them to go on, just as long as it's along with the Countess' side of things. While she comes off at first as more of an airhead during your first interaction with her, she seems to not let on exactly how much she knows.
As time goes on you find her again after the guards ask you for the password to gain entry to the palace. After a few words she begins to show you around the palace and tells of how Nadia is expecting you.
Accent: The casting director for this project would like a British(specifically standard english; most preferred accent) or russian accent for her, but is not required to audition. If you audition with a british or russian accent, it would be greatly appreciated if you could include some takes with a regular American accent in case she changes her mind.

Voice: No pitch preference, friendly and high energy, possibly also raspy. But also open to interpretation.

(Annoyed, sassy) It was easy, we just followed the sounds of self-loathing and day drinking.
Described as a wandering magician with a wealth of secrets, Asra is first introduced in-game as your teacher in magic, and is one of the three current available love interests.
Asra is characterised by a wanderlust and curiosity that often leads him away on mysterious journeys, and he enjoys exploring faraway locations. To your enduring annoyance, he is often enigmatic and acts ambiguously, especially when pressed about your past. However he confesses to hate keeping secrets from you, and refrains from telling you complete truths only to keep you safe. He is very devoted to and protective towards the apprentice, admitting that he journeys partly to escape his overwhelming feelings for you, as he cannot tell you how he feels. At times Asra is difficult to predict, but he can always be depended on to arrive whenever you need him. He is free-spirited and sociable though ultimately private, preferring to spend his time alone or with you. He also enjoys teasing others with a mischievous humour, delighting in making them fluster. However when the favour is returned, or upon receiving genuine affection, he appears comically uncertain of how to respond. Carefree and content to live in the moment, Asra appears to dislike worrying for the future, and will remind you to do the same.
Accent: The casting director for this project would like an accent for this character, but is not required to audition. The former actor was going for an indian accent before we realized this character was middle eastern. So a middle eastern accent may be best.
Voice: Medium to mid-deep, possibly gentle/soft but also open to interpretation.

Comic editors will be helping me edit comics from Genshin Impact, The Arcana, and Honkai Star Rail. You will be responsible in looking for music and sound effects to be used for the video you are editing(unless I provide you with specific soundtracks/SFX to be used or add suggestions). However, they must be under the creative commons license which means anyone can use the music/sound effect you are looking at AS LONG as credit is given. If we need to purchase a license to use the sound effect/music then I'd like to refrain from that if possible. I don't know how that stuff works-- as in, I don't know if *I* will be needing to purchase the license as well if it is being posted onto my channel.
