Rocky, the son of an alpha wolf, is at a crossroads when faced with the pressure of becoming the next alpha wolf by family bloodline. Unlike his manipulative father Ulric, Rocky is more sympathetic and kind-hearted. While befriending a beta wolf's son, Rocky's father speculates the true intentions of their relationship. Follow Rocky as he struggles to either be the alpha wolf of his father's desires or be a free-spirited soul with little to no responsibilities. Rocky is both kind and free-spirited wolf. The idea of him being bombarded with a forced responsibility that he does not want nor support, makes him seem rebellious. When meeting new people he is shy, and usually does not start a conversation with others unless confronted first. The social norms that surround him are not something he wants to conform to. Rocky is obedient to his father, not for respectful reasons but out of fear of what his father might do to him. However, with his mother Elena, Rocky feels at ease and can be himself without fear. Rocky is intelligent, resourceful, and progressive. However, Rocky is very sensitive and tends to be impulsive. While given automatic birthright to lead on the wolf pack, his internal struggle of choosing to either surrender himself and conform to what is expected of him or live out a life in freedom with little to no responsibilities further enhances the storyline. A note reference would be to look at how Alexander Gould from Bambi 2 portrays his character. Shy, awkward, soft-spoken.

Some background: ROCKY had just found out that ARIA has been disguising herself as him during training and manipulated him into thinking it was a couple of days away. A friend of ROCKY'S has been injured because of ARIA'S aggressive behavior during training in which she wasn't even supposed to be at,
ROCKY: (Coldly) “What did you do?”
ARIA: “I do things every day, you’ll have to be more specific than that.”
ROCKY: “You know posing as me isn’t going to do you any good. In case you forgot father doesn’t want you to be the next alpha.”
ARIA: (Smirks) “Oh, but once he sees it’s me he’ll change his mind.”
ROCKY: “You’re delusional. It’s not like him to change his mind. Tradition has me next in line. He believes that, and so does everyone else.”
ARIA: “Rocky. You don’t even want to be the next alpha. Why are we arguing?”
ROCKY: “Why? Because you hurt my friend!”
ARIA: “And what are you going to do about it? Tell dad? I don’t know about you, but I’ve been training these last few days with everyone else. He’s going to ask where you’ve been all this time if you weren’t training.”
ROCKY: “You’d be in just as much trouble. You’re not even allowed to be training.”
ARIA: “Maybe. But I think I've been making myself productive unlike you. When dad inevitably finds out that it was me, and you weren’t training, I’d be thrilled to tell him that you were playing in the meadow with Bunn Bunn and Bambi.”
“It'll all be over tomorrow.” Rocky states.
“I just find it funny that the only time dad is happy with you, is when it was actually me all along. If that doesn’t say something about you I don’t know what does. Goodnight brother.”
(Dejected) “What am I gonna do?”

Alex has his good looks and knows when to use that to his advantage. Not for malicious purposes, but mainly to get himself out of trouble. Especially with his adventures with Rocky. A smooth talker who is very physically gifted. He takes training seriously and although he might not want to, he does try to impress others so he can receive a high rank during the final test. He is the son of a beta wolf. In a standard wolf pack, beta wolves are second in command and still are respected highly since their genes are invaluable as well.
This place. It must've been inhabited before. Look over here, there are paintings on the walls, and those types of logs are made to make fire. This was a human sanctuary. It's so sad. I can only imagine what it must have been like on this island when humans were around.
Jealous? What? I'm not the jealous type. I'm the... Unresentful, undoubting, calm type. And I stand by that. Regardless of who it might- wait we used to do that!
Manipulative, power-hungry, and prideful, Aria is Rocky's sister. She is one of my favorite characters since she also has internal conflicts that have to do with what she should be doing with her life. Since she is the daughter of an alpha male, Aria automatically receives a high yield of potential mates. None of what she is interested in because she strives to alter old traditions and cultivate new ones that allow female wolves to not just be looked at as an elite token for breeding, but for leadership as well. She truly believes that she deserves to be the next alpha wolf, but since she is a female, that goal is only a dream she can wish for. It angers her to know that her brother Rocky has been handed royalty on a silver spoon when he does not even want it while she is constantly being told to be put in her place in society. A note reference would be to look at how AZULA is characterized by Avatar The Last Airbender. Not necessarily sound the same, but rather take into consideration how she presents herself in front of others.

ARIA finally reveals herself in front of the entire wolfpack that she had been posing as ROCKY. This is a very important moment for ARIA since this is the first time she discussed going against tradition and declares to adopt new ones. ARIA is speaking out and attempting to gather other pack members to accept her as the next alpha wolf.
“I am in the same bloodline as my brother, yet you all decide to choose him as the next alpha simply because of tradition. I am living proof that tradition needs to change. Our sisters need to stop being condescended and need to have the same opportunities as our brothers. What keeps a species from going extinct is their ability to change and adapt over time. I believe that if we keep our close-minded traditions, our pack will cease to exist. I, Aria, daughter of Elena and Ulric, would be honored to serve as this pack's new alpha, and lead us with not what has always been done, but lead us with new ideas on what should and needs to be done.”

Ruben's attitude would be comparing him to a chihuahua. Sure he's a young small bunny, but he's got a big personality to compensate. He often has to pull Dylan aside to get a grip. He is logistical but can be a little pessimistic.
ROCKY meets RUBEN and DYLAN for the first time
“Ah! A wolf! And just like that Dylan that’s the end of our short-lived lives. We were too young, too beautiful to live in this cruel world anyways. Get it over with….” There is an awkward pause of silence.
"The anticipation is too much to handle. He really is a monster!” Ruben exclaims
RUBEN: “Anyways, what kind of common wolf doesn’t hunt? Oh right. None of them!”
ROCKY: “Well, I’m telling you this one doesn’t,” Rocky stands up from off of the floor, “I don’t get a say on what I want to do. My dad does.” He leans down to meet eye contact with Ruben. “Besides, I'm not even a common wolf.”
RUBEN: “Hm. I still don’t trust you.” Ruben is suspicious of Rocky.
ROCKY: “That's fine. You two have a nice day.” Rocky trots past them. “And... If I were you, I would keep Dylan away from those berries.”
RUBEN: “Berries? Dylan no!” Ruben stomps on a piece of the trap before Dylan can get caught, disrupting it. The trap snaps its way in front of Dylan's face. The leftover berries roll on the floor next to Dylan and Ruben's feet.
RUBEN: “That wolf sure is weird.”
RUBEN: “Okay. That should do it." He hears something but believes it's ROCKY.
RUBEN: “Oh. Hey. You know, I’m having a really hard time adjusting to befriending a predator. Every time you come from the bushes I kinda feel like you’re just waiting for the perfect moment to eat me.”
--- ALEX approaches RUBEN behind a bush and launches after him ---
RUBEN: “AH! Dylan! Help! AH!"
DYLAN: “Oh hey Ruben. I finally-”
RUBEN (Urgent/Heavy Breath): "A wolf is chasing me! He's gonna eat me, Dylan! We gotta go now!”
DYLAN (Disbelief/Calm): “I thought Rocky said he wouldn’t eat us.”
RUBEN: “Not that wolf!”
DYLAN: “Then what wolf are you talking about?”

A young fawn who may even be afraid of his own shadow. Dylan pairs greatly with Ruben as they both work as a comedic duo in this project. Dylan is a sweetheart with good intentions but is also clumsy.
DYLAN: “Oh hey Ruben. I finally-”
RUBEN (Urgent/Heavy Breath): "A wolf is chasing me! He's gonna eat me, Dylan! We gotta go now!”
DYLAN (Disbelief/Calm): “Calm down Ruben. Rocky said he wouldn’t eat us.”
RUBEN: “Not that wolf!”
DYLAN: “Then what wolf are you talking about?”

DYLAN: “No. I’m tired of always being afraid. Rocky needs me and I'll do whatever I can to save him.” DYLAN references his barely grown-in antlers. “Okay, guys this is the moment of truth. AHHHH! Take that! And that!"
"Hey Rocky! I finally managed to get that surprise for you going. It's even color-coordinated. And look, tundra cotton in the center just like you wanted. This present for Alex is way better than the original one you asked me to help you with. Sure, it would've been practical but it's more fun to give someone something unexpected."
The mother of Rocky and Aria, and mate of Ulric. Elena is gentle and soft-spoken. Her presence to Rocky feels ethereal. She shows him compassion and love. Her and aria have little in common as she takes after her father. Leaving Aria to not like her own mother. Elena sadly dies within the first season which causes a major shift in Rocky's life. Rarely she will appear in Rocky's dreams and share her wisdom with him.
