ROCKY meets RUBEN and DYLAN for the first time 

“Ah! A wolf! And just like that Dylan that’s the end of our short-lived lives. We were too young, too beautiful to live in this cruel world anyways. Get it over with….” There is an awkward pause of silence. 

"The anticipation is too much to handle. He really is a monster!” Ruben exclaims

RUBEN: “Anyways, what kind of common wolf doesn’t hunt? Oh right. None of them!”

ROCKY: “Well, I’m telling you this one doesn’t,” Rocky stands up from off of the floor, “I don’t get a say on what I want to do. My dad does.” He leans down to meet eye contact with Ruben. “Besides, I'm not even a common wolf.” 

RUBEN: “Hm. I still don’t trust you.” Ruben is suspicious of Rocky. 

ROCKY: “That's fine. You two have a nice day.” Rocky trots past them. “And... If I were you, I would keep Dylan away from those berries.”

RUBEN: “Berries? Dylan no!” Ruben stomps on a piece of the trap before Dylan can get caught, disrupting it. The trap snaps its way in front of Dylan's face. The leftover berries roll on the floor next to Dylan and Ruben's feet. 

RUBEN: “That wolf sure is weird.”

RUBEN: “Okay. That should do it." He hears something but believes it's ROCKY. 

RUBEN: “Oh. Hey. You know, I’m having a really hard time adjusting to befriending a predator. Every time you come from the bushes I kinda feel like you’re just waiting for the perfect moment to eat me.” 

--- ALEX approaches RUBEN behind a bush and launches after him ---

RUBEN: “AH! Dylan! Help! AH!"

DYLAN: “Oh hey Ruben. I finally-”

RUBEN (Urgent/Heavy Breath): "A wolf is chasing me! He's gonna eat me, Dylan! We gotta go now!” 

DYLAN (Disbelief/Calm):  “I thought Rocky said he wouldn’t eat us.” 

RUBEN: “Not that wolf!” 

DYLAN: “Then what wolf are you talking about?”

--- ALEX hops over a log and rushes after them --- 

RUBEN: “That one!” 

DYLAN/RUBEN: "AH!"
