Tekken 5 Cutscene English redub
Project Overview
INFO: This is a small-scale fandub intended for release on my Youtube channel. I'm aiming to dub a few of the cutscenes from Tekken 5 as many of the characters didn't receive English voices for the game and instead spoke using their native tongue. There are only a few scenes that we could voice so it should be an easy project to record for. The end result should hopefully showcase everyone's talents and provide a fun alternative to the official version.
- The final product will be a 1-5 minute video compilation of dialogue cutscenes that have been redubbed from Japanese to English. NO gameplay voices will need to be recorded for.
- I have all the game's materials ready for editing.
- Jinpachi has been cast and recorded, I am simply in need of another other voice - Mainly Jin Kazama/Devil Jin & Asuka.

Voice: Mid-range. Dark and brooding with a somewhat heroic quality (Think Matrix Keanu Reeves) (Asian American preferred but not mandatory)
Bio: Trained by his grandfather, Heihachi Mishima in order to enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament, Jin wishes to avenge his mother's death. However, during the tournament, it is revealed that Jin possesses the Devil Gene - a genetic abnormality within his body which, when he loses control, causes him to transform into an alter-ego named Devil Jin.
Upon returning to Yakushima, Jin was plagued by recurring nightmares. Jin could feel the influence of the Devil Gene growing stronger.
With nothing else left, Jin went out to end his bloodline.
"I am Jin Kazama. Heir of the Cursed Blood!"
"If this keeps eating away at me, I don't know how long I can hold on"
Voice: Similar range to Jin but amped up dark/demonic qualities. Should aim to convey a threatening atmosphere that can be either subdued, trance-like/brooding or crazy sadistic.
Bio: When the Devil Gene takes over Jin's mind after a struggle, he becomes extremely arrogant, aggressive and brooding. He seeks to achieve ultimate power and will do whatever it takes to achieve it. He is also very sadistic, as he has a habit of laughing at the suffering of his foes.
"Very well, you'll be the first to feel my wrath!"
"[Laughter] Insignificant girl... Do you think you can stop me?"
"Fear the wrath of God"
Voice range: Ideally a cute/charming teenage girl voice with a brash and arrogant personality.
-The character's alignment is good. In the game her goal is revenge on Feng Wei for destroying her father's dojo and injuring him, having completed that, she aims to have fun competing in the tournament.
Bio: Asuka is surprisingly brash and arrogant. Although her profile states that she breaks up fights regularly, she seems to have no qualms about fighting and seemingly revels in it despite being beautiful. In her story mode, after defeating her target, Feng Wei, she decides to remain in the tournament in order to "have fun". Her pre and post-match quotes also demonstrate her confidence. As stated in her Tekken 5 / Dark Resurrection prologue, Asuka is also known for being a "nosy kid" who likes to solve other people's problems, "usually by knockout".

"You're my father's sworn enemy! You're mine!"
Voice: Mid-range voice with a somewhat wild and aggressive temperament. An Asian/Chinese influence would be appreciated.
Bio: A ruthless and merciless martial artist. Feng has a lust for power and fighting.
As a boy, Feng Wei was raised as a disciple by a Kempo master who was so skilled that he was known as Shinken (literally God Fist). At 20 years of age, Feng was the best student his school had ever seen. When his master scolded him for fighting outside the dojo, Feng killed him. Now Feng seeks the secrets of the God Fist scrolls stolen by the Mishima family and enters the fifth King of Iron Fist Tournament to do so.
Asuka Kazama has connections with this ruthless, merciless Kempo fighter. Feng severely beat Asuka's father and destroyed his dojo in his search for the scrolls.
"Yes. My name is Feng Wei."
"Lei Wulong? The master of the 5 Form Kung Fu... Interesting. You will fight with me!"
Voice: Ideally an aged sounding voice with a rasp. You could try to let some crazed/demonic qualities slip out occasionally when performing. In other words; an erratic temperament due to being possessed. *Demonic voice filter is not needed for audition.*
Bio: Having been taken over and resurrected by a vengeful spirit and granted incredible supernatural powers, Jinpachi breaks out of Hon-maru when the compound is destroyed during a battle between Heihachi, Kazuya and an army of Jack-4's sent to kill Heihachi. With the news of Heihachi's apparent demise, Jinpachi takes over the company from behind the scenes and organizes the fifth King of Iron Fist Tournament in the hopes that someone will free him before the spirit takes him over completely.
"You fool... You cannot defeat me after giving in to the Devil."
"You! What is your name?... I see. This explains why my blood is screaming... Screaming to destroy you!"
