Project Overview
Hey hey! I'm taking a break from Lupin III projects to something more...radical!
Hi, I'm Robert! I'm a VA and YouTuber and have recently done a lot of comic/manga dubs and want to branch out to another franchise.
A dub of the ORIGINAL TMNT comics
Requirements:
Your audition must have good audio quality with little to no background noise. If it has noticeable background noise, it will not be considered and will be immediately dismissed.
Meeting deadlines is important, but communicate with me if you cannot meet said deadline! We can work things out as long as there is communication.
Communication is truly key. If I can't get in touch with you after long periods of time consistently, then I will be forced to let someone else take the role.
Please don't slate!
Actors must have a discord account.
(BTW, no Michaelangelo audition slot because I will be voicing him)
Don't see a character that is right for you? No worries! IF everything goes well with this dub, we can hopefully do as much issues as I have the strength for. I definitely want to get into the ones with characters like:

The Fugitoid
Casey Jones
But we are not there yet right now.

My favorite Leonardo portrayal is by Michael Sinterniklass in the 2003 TMNT show.

But since this is the original comic, it's more gritty but I don't want to lose who Leonardo is. A more gritty take is by Jason Griffith if you need some inspiration.

This is hopefully a more long term role, and I would enjoy for the same VA to continue playing this role for as much as issues I have the strength to dub.
In the first issue, Leonardo has some narration but definitely not as much as Splinter.

Unlike the rest of the turtles, I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for Donnie to sound like. I don't want him to sound like a nerd or a geek because he's more ninja and warrior in Mirage comics. But there has to be some element that makes him sound like Donnie.

Because Splinter is owned by Hamato Yoshi for most of his life, I feel like they would sound similar in their inflections. But they need to have some sort of separation of each other.

Oroku Nagi is Shredder's older brother so since they are siblings, it would be best if they share similar voice patterns. But like Splinter and Hamato Yoshi, they need to have some sort of separation of each other.

From my experience with music in my dubs, the songs are not long at all. Just short jingles or something that is a couple of seconds. But I will need a title and credits song.
