Casting Update
Thank you to everyone who has auditioned so far! As I finish up the script and harmony guides over the weekend, I'll be making final decisions and reaching out to the cast by Monday, February 29th. I can't wait to work with you all! ~
Tangled Full Fandub
Project Overview
This is one of several full fandubs that I have/will host on my channel. As an aspiring sound designer for animation (which I am going to school for) and an aspiring voice actress, I love hosting these projects to not only live out my dreams of playing roles in my favorite movies (and gain more expertise in sound editing) but to also help other voice actors get to play in these iconic films, gain experience, meet new people and network, and have fun bonding over a common love for animation and acting!
I am planning to premiere/release this project in May of 2021 to celebrate Rapunzel's (and my own) birthday considering the themes of the movie! I have the main roles precast, however I need all other roles filled out. I am also hoping to have a strong choir for "I've Got A Dream" and possibly a medley or original song for the ending credits. If anyone is interested in being involved in the ensemble (any gender allowed, guys, gals and non-binary pals!) there will be a role open for this to submit any singing samples. This role may also include some extra lines/walla in the film.

All project information and important links including the script, a link to the film file (for anyone that cannot access Disney +), and harmony guides will be sent within a project server where you will also be able to send your lines, ask questions, and be up to date on preview premieres and the official premiere date and time!
For anyone that has not seen the film, or needs a refresh here is a short synopsis: Long ago, a drop of liquid sunlight sprouted a magical healing flower. For centuries, Mother Gothel used the flower to retain her youth, and she is angered when soldiers from a nearby kingdom pluck it to heal their ailing and pregnant queen. Shortly afterward, the Queen gives birth to Princess Rapunzel, whose golden hair contains the flower's healing properties. Gothel tries to steal a lock of Rapunzel's hair to use the magic once again, but discovers that cutting the hair renders it powerless. She instead abducts Rapunzel and raises her as her own in a secret tower. In order to keep the confined and isolated Rapunzel content, Gothel teaches her to fear the outside world and its people. Each year, the King and Queen release sky lanterns on Rapunzel's birthday, hoping for their daughter to see them and return. Against her mother's wishes, Rapunzel accepts the aid of an intruder to take her out into the world which she has never seen.

GUYS, GALS, AND NON-BINARY PALS NEEDED! For this, you may either sing any part of "I've Got a Dream" or a song that fits comfortably in your range. 10 seconds minimum! I need extra soloists for "I've Got a Dream" as well as ensemble members to join in the choir so that the harmonies sound more full. Please leave your vocal type with your audition (if you don't know, just indicate if you feel more comfortable singing higher, middle, or lower!)
