Tales of Vileia: The Thieves (Minecraft Fantasy Machinima)

Project Overview

Synopsis

Edras Athram is a member of the Prestige Guild, a group of thieves living under Frelia. When the group prepares to leave the current city theyre staying in, Edras is tasked with tracking down an old friend of his known as Karliah Erdove and bringing her with them. However, this is shown to be rather difficult as Karliah was hired for a nearly impossible heist: obtain a conduit holding insurmountable power before some very dangerous people get their hands on it.

Backstory:
Edras Athram is a dark elf hailing from the large city of Frelia. As a young Orphan he often survived by picking pockets. That is until one day he picked the pocket of Anders ironhand, head of the Thieves Guild. Anders took Edras in and practically raised him, teaching him to properly steal. Being brought up in the guild Edras' loyalty is tested when Anders tasks him with finding a member of theirs,  Karliah.

Backstory:
Karliah Erdove was raised in the thieves guild by her father who was the guild master. Karliah and Edras have always been good friends but as of recently they are reconnecting after a while of them growing apart with Edras being strangely distant.  In the short ,she is hired by a mage in a small town to find a magical artifact that needs to be kept out of the hands of a dark cult. 

  • "I don't need your help- Just go back to Anders and let him know I'll be on my way when things are done here."

  • "Unfortunately I do know him, yes. Edras what the hell are you doing here?"

  • "What's been going on with you Edras? Before I left you were acting so weird and now I can't seem to get rid of you. "

Backstory: 

Anders is a former nobleman that is also from Frelia, He joined the Guild at a fairly young age when his family was scammed out of their wealth.  He too was taken in like he did for Edras. He dedicated his life to stealing it back and making the men who took it pay.  After getting his family's money back he chose to use it to help others who were less fortunate, using the Thieves guild to steal from the corrupt and give back to the people it's hurting.

  • "I see you've thought this one out. Ok, we'll leave in a few days. Oh but I want you to find Karliah, she left a few days ago, said she was hired for a job. Let her know we're moving and then the both of you meet us in Yhmer."
