Project Overview
Hello everyone, my name is Derik aka AnAnimatedGamer. I am the creator, lead animator, and writer for my fan series "Super Mario Bros. The Animated Adventures"
Based on the Nintendo Power comic "Super Mario Adventures".
This series focuses on Mario and Luigi, on their first-ever adventure to recuse Princess Peach from the evil King Bowser.
Saga 1 will be loosely based on the Original Super Mario Adventures comic, with more Saga's based on various Mario game stories (Like Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Super Mario Sunshine) coming soon.
If you're interested, please consider auditioning for this series either as a Voice Actor or any other available roles like Animation and Writing.
More roles will be added in the future.
Here are the rules to audition:
(Voice Actors Only) You must have a great quality microphone (Audio clips with too much background noise and static will not be accepted)
You must have an easy and reliable way for me to contact you and send files. (Skype and Discord to be exact) (Note: You HAVE to be frequently active in order for this method of contact to work)
(Voice Actors Only) Stay in character at all-times, it is very important to stay true to the character's voices.
Please post contact information along with your audition (If you get accepted, and you fail to return my message within 20 days, you will not be able to partake for this project)

3D Background Animator
One who can animate 3D environments for the characters (Who will be 2D). This will involve ripping models from games (not a requirement, but preferred), modifying assets from said models, and doing various camera motions depending on what the characters are doing.

Someone who can write songs for various moments sprinkled throughout the series. One who can both write songs that works in the context of the episode/story and also stand out on their own.

Kamek (referred to as Magikoopa on occasion) is an old yet powerful Magikoopa and apparent advisor to Bowser (or at least a high-ranking member in the Koopa Troop) and the archenemy of Yoshi. He serves as one of the secondary antagonists in the Mario franchise, alongside Bowser Jr., and is one of the two main villains of the Yoshi franchise, alongside Baby Bowser. He is also Baby Bowser's primary caretaker, and he continues to look after Bowser,]

Your Grumpiness! I'm happy to inform you that everything is going according to plan. The Princess is captured, the Toad Brigade is down, and the wedding planning is going smoothly.
The wedding cake is currently being worked on as we speak.

Mechakoopas are one of Bowser's many minions. They are small mechanical versions of Bowser, resembling a wind-up toy. They have a wind-up key on their back and their appearances feature several mechanical appendages. They walk in a rhythmical way and must wind themselves up again from time to time in order to keep moving.
Voice: Feel free to give your own take on the character but try to make it sound like a robot

One of the new characters appearing in Season 2 of Super Mario Bros. The Animated Adventures.
Pauline is the original damsel-in-distress in the arcade game Donkey Kong, the installment that marked her debut in both the Donkey Kong and Mario franchises, along with Mario and her titular kidnapper. She was Mario's first love interest and best friend when they were teenagers. In Season 2, Mario and Pauline reunite after the bros. gain popularity for saving Peach from Bowser in Season 1. She is now the Mayor of New Donk City and wants to host a festival in NDC in collaboration with the Brothers.

Wendy O. Koopa is one of the Koopalings, a clan of seven siblings that act as leaders of the Koopa Troop under Bowser. She is the only female of the group and is portrayed as the de facto leader of the Koopalings, being the most responsible of them. Mainly when Kammy Koopa isn't around, seeing as she's a mother figure to the Koopalings, though she is still a kid, so she can be a bit bratty and spoiled.
Voice: Try to replicate the official voice clips from the New Super Mario Bros. series

Larry Koopa. One out of the 7 koopalings from the Mario universe.
Characteristics: Larry is the most competitive out of the koopalings, and frequently tries to be the best villain he can possibly be.
Voice and Impression: Try giving Larry a voice that's a mix of his voice samples from the New Super Mario Bros Series and Stephanie Nadolny's voice of Kid Goku/Gohan voice from the Funimation dub of the original Dragon Ball anime. or you can give your own take on the character if you like.

Iggy Koopa. One out of the 7 koopalings from the Mario universe.
Characteristics: Iggy Koopa is the biggest trouble maker out of all the koopalings. He's often the main one who causes the most trouble for the heroes, but can get carried away, to the point where his methods end up failing.
Voice and Impression: Try imitating the voice clips of Iggy from the New Super Mario Bros. Series.
