Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hello, everyone! This casting call is for Super Mario Bros. (Minecraft Roleplay)! From ex producers of The Ace Network.
We're casting for a slew of voices to be used throughout the season. (NOTE: If the series does well, please expect to be called back for connected projects in this Mario franchise) Those that are cast for smaller roles will be asked to provide lines for additional, smaller roles not featured on CCC. If you're cast for a main role, we may ask you to provide lines for minor roles in the production, but only when we're in absolute dire need.
All roles are in the English language.
We are not yet suited to pay our voice actors/actresses, however, if the series performs well, you should expect compensation for you work.
OVERVIEW
Mamma mia! Bowser has captured the princess! Join Mario & Luigi on their quest to rescue Princess Peach, one of the rulers of The Mushroom Kingdom, as they journey through eight lands of which they’ve never seen before! Will these two have what it takes?
DEADLINES AND AUDITIONS
The deadline for auditions is April 20th, 2021. There are currently no plans to extend this deadline. We'll notify voice actors who have been cast in roles by April 21st, and send scripts to voice actors by April 21st as well. We need to receive all lines back from voice actors by June 15th. This is a hard deadline. If you are unable to record between April 21st - June 15th, please do not audition.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect to be warmly greeted by one of our producers that put together this roleplay. At this point, you'll be part of our DAD team, where you'll get to interact with other voices actors from around the globe, all of whom offer a wealth of experience and knowledge.
We communicate primarily through Discord. If you are unfamiliar with this application, you can still audition, however, we strongly, strongly recommend participation through Discord so that you can collaborate with your fellow voice actors. We've used Discord with other projects and it has been of immense value.

NOTE: You do not have to make every line energetic, Mario will not just be saying one liners but instead will be holding conversations. Mario is kind, courageous, playful, cocky, shows good sportsmanship and is generally pure of heart. Mario holds no grudges, and really just sees the light in people. A weakness however is that he is completely reckless when rushing into situations.

NOTE: You do not have to make every line energetic, Luigi will not just be saying one liners but instead will be holding conversations. Luigi shares some of his brother's traits like being good However, Luigi is more quiet, shy, fearful, goofy, and naïve. It's no secret that Luigi has been in Mario's shadow his whole life, so for him, this is a different story. Yes, he wants to save the princess but he also wants to prove to himself and everybody, especially his brother, that he can pull his own weight.

NOTE: I’m very open to Peach’s voice, so you can have your own spin on it. As long as the elegance is there when needed and the tone switches with her moods! Peach is sweet, kind, optimistic, friendly, and has a very experienced skill set! She can really hold her own most times and is incredibly smart, she's vert independent for the most part.

NOTE: Must have a relatively deep voice! Bowser is as evil as it gets, in these lands he really is the most evil of them all. He is a power hungry tyrant who intents to rule the Mushroom Kingdom and eventually the UNIVERSE. Bowser has a hard time showing empathy or even mercy.
*Evil Chuckle* Who? Mario? Don't be ridiculous!

"Quiet, koopalings! I'm the king here! I'll decide what land we're gonna take over!"
NOTE: If casted, you might be required to play any variations of Yoshi like Blue, Yellow, Etc. Yoshi is a fun, cute, loveable dinosaur who aids Mario & Luigi on their quest! He is very friendly and has a soft, adorable voice!

NOTE: Toad’s traditional voice is preferred however, we are open to your own personal spin if you think that is better. Toad's defining traits are his cartoonish and cutesy appearance, his optimism and humble, sometimes cowardly personality, and his characteristic smile and voice. He is a long time protector of the Mushroom Kingdom and is Peach’s attendant. He can also be goofy at times.

NOTE: Toadsworth should NOT sound like toad, a good example would be like a butler of sorts. If more assistance is needed, please use the link below for guidance. NOTE: This voice is up to you, please keep in mind that he is a king The Mushroom King is very dim-witted, and as such can be easily duped by Bowser. He usually winds up doing dumb stuff and thinks he is a lot smarter than he actually is. However, he is very protective of his daughter, Princess Peach.
"What!? Me!? A fool!? (Laughing) Don't be silly!
"Please allow me thank the both of you, by holding a ceremony in your honor. What are your names?"
(Sad but comical then angry) "Oh my Peach! How could I let such a thing happen! ..Quiet!"

One of the loyal servants of Bowser's kids, she is also the only female of the bunch. She has a quick temper and is so clingy with money and luxury. She should sound kind of annoying as well. Larry is the youngest of the koopalings.
