Suncrest Horizon
Project Overview
Suncrest Horizon is my senior film! It is a magical girl story, so it will definitely help if you have some understanding of the genre and character archetypes.
The plot follows Suncrest, or Sunny, as she is injured during a battle and loses her powers. It is an exploration of illness, injury, burnout, and what it takes to let yourself rest. The rest of her team play roles from major to minor. The film is around 3 and a half minutes long.
The full film has been scripted and storyboarded already, and as such, I ask that you only apply if you know you can provide lines in a reasonable timeframe if chosen! I also ask that you record with a high quality microphone, as to be considerate to my sound mixer.
Payment will be delivered through Paypal or Venmo after lines have been recorded, with the option of a 50% advance upon request. The film will be produced throughout the coming school year, so ideally you would be available for extra lines if necessary until at least January!(Extra pay can be discussed as well if those have to happen.)

The main character, with the vast majority of lines. I'm looking for someone with a LOT of emotional range for this! She spends a large portion of the film at a very low point, including very heavy sobbing, but in the end, she is passionate and triumphant! I am looking for a realistic, tomboyish line for this role. She has 19 lines total.

Your quintessential pink magical girl. She is sweet, sometimes silly, but caring to a fault. She sees what sunny is going through, and she wants to help, but she struggles figuring out exactly how to. She has 9 lines total.

Snowfall is the most mature of the team. She is calm, collected, and logical, without being cold or heartless. She is currently in the middle of her med school residency, and often fills the role of the team doctor because of that. She is the one who tells Sunny when she really needs to be resting, even if Sunny doesn't listen. She has 4 lines total.
