Lines
I realized I may or may not have forgotten to add lines to my character pages, so sorry for that! They should all be updated now!
Esther is a 15 year old Feathered Lion living in the mountains with her pride. The history they hold so close is such a mystery to her, she might go to lengths unseeable by her family to seek her dreams.
This call is for very early VA's to work with for tests and other items in early development.

[CHEERFUL] And *then*, we made our homes in the mountains! We dug out the insides, learned every stone of our home, and built a culture. And now, we’re all over the mountains!
[INFORMING, TEASING] We have earthquakes because the snake moves in its sleep, but don't let it catch you denying it! It’ll gobble you up as punishment!
[FEARFUL, DEMANDING] Hey! I’m not cold! Get off me! Where am I?
YVONNE: [DEMANDING] Esther! Stop scaring the cubs.
YVONNE: [HARSH] You’re not supposed to be telling stories, you’re fifteen, you have to work. I know you are my child, but just because you’re the cub of the pride leader does not mean you get to slack off and play storyteller with the *actual* cubs.
YVONNE: [INFORMING] You’re going hunting with Lupe and Moon. You know, like I told you this morning?
[SUSPICIOUS] How do you know if the snake is real?
*Say something you think would fit*
[DENYING] Not true! I’m too small!
[SCOFFING] Took you long enough, come on, let's go before the moon comes out please.
[ANNOYED] As if! Ugh, come on. Let's get going.
[PRODDING, TEASING] Hey don’t rub the girl wrong, or she’ll go home with more than you Lupe.
[COMFORTING] Come on, little lioness, let's get you warm.
Don’t worry! I got you. [SHARP, DEMANDING YELL] KING! Go underneath and make sure the lion doesn’t fall!
[CURIOUS] Esther? That means Star! [pause] Star, huh? What gave your mom that idea?
[TAKE NO SHIT (FOR LACK OF A BETTER TERM)] You’re in the rainforest, you know, the one at the bottom of the mountain?
[heaving as he pushes ESTHER up the tree] Ignore her, [GROAN], She’s all into name meanings.
Hey, Ottilie, do you really think she should be up this high? You know the dens higher up are hotter this time of year, especially for a snow living animal.
Here you go dear.
Thank you!
[CHUCKLING] When I told her she had three months to search and not three days, oh, you should have seen her face! I’ve never seen a worker so relieved.
[HEARTY LAUGH] Silly little thing, isn’t she?
[MATTER OF A FACT] Obviously, that's YVONNE’S cub, INDY!
Hey, WREN, RUTHIE, look! Is that the cub that YVONNE said she lost after the avalanche yesterday?
How was I supposed to know? I’ve never been to her pride!
[NERVOUS] All the prides have been looking for missing lions, here, we’ll get you to a tunnel so you can head home.
Honey, listen to your mother, believe me when I say she knows what she’s talking about.
The world has not and will never change, the life we live is one of solitude, but it's the life that keeps us safe. [comforting his daughter.]
[SHOCKED] Yeah, what?
Hey, feathers breathe now. [she hits her back to help remove water from her lungs.]
Nah, I can tell. Where did you pop out of anyways? Did you not know that the river is white water?
[snapping, growling] *Can it Amado!*
Come now! Come see Amado’s fine water wears, Aluminum Anchors! Better than steel! YOU! [pointing to ESTHER] You look like a fish out of water! Well I can fix that! A lightweight but sturdy lifejacket! True and pure neoprene and nylon where all you gotta do is [sharp inhale], [dramatic blow] it inflates faster than an otter!
[he hums a hello before seeing ESTHER] Who’s the kitty?
[snapping] I can talk to who I want Leela!
Save it Leena! I got my daughter to look at it! I pay your paycheck!
Eros! We got a stacked house and you’re giggling with your daughter? You’re supposed to own this place!
Full stop!
[cutting in, less confident] Uh, SCOUT, maybe don’t-
Hey, BLAZE! Look at the tourists!
You know, the rainforest isn’t a place for little ladies
Premium woven baskets! Pure willow wood bark! Made with the expertise of the ancient Wounaan techniques!
Get some fruits! All kinds! Grapefruit, Bananas, Mango, Papaya! Home grown right here in Ida!
[assertive] VANYA! Don’t stare!
[whisper screaming] Even more of a reason not to stare!
[whining] But VAUGHN! They’re not from here!
[demanding] What old lady?
Get back on that bed! Who knows what nasties you bring into my tree!
Those sad map makers just copy mine! After a while they start to become their own fictional world and not our home.
FRIDA! Keep your hooves off of your brother please, CEDAR! That is not the way a gentleman acts!
