Summon VAs Needed for Webtoon: Wake the Will (Ep15)
Project Overview
Introduction:
Wake the Will is a webcomic series on Webtoon. I write and illustrate for the story as its only creator. This is an ongoing project that I am doing for fun as a hobby, as the general idea for a card game-based series has seen numerous drafts over the years. With this, I'm telling the final, definitive version of the story I always wanted to tell.
-Summary taken directly from the Webtoon series hub: "To avoid the harsh reality that is life, individuals escape into a virtual reality game based around a trading card game named Wake the Will. One girl enters this world in order to set things right and stand against this false utopia. However, her plans derail, as she immediately encounters a boy around her age, whom is one of many that has given up on life."
What's going into the project:
-I am looking for five voice actors to play five Summons, cards played by characters in the story.
-These episodes are videos posted to my YouTube channel, where we will be dubbing over shots of each panel from the webcomic. This will be used to promote the Webtoon, giving it life with voice acting, music, and occasional animation.
-We're planning to do every episode of the Wake the Will Webtoon. There are currently 41 episodes released on Webtoon, with the 45th in production.

This story focuses around players in a VR game playing a trading card game with each other. Players will dramatically play out and announce their moves, as done in Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardfight!! Vanguard, or Shadowverse. Feel free to take a look at my Webtoon if you are in need for more context:

Major Summon: Maiden of Memories is Hayley's ace card. She relies heavily on this card to win her battles. Therefore, you'll be featured quite often on-screen whenever Hayley battles. (For the VA I choose, your submission for this audition will be directly used for an uploaded episode and you'll only be contacted if additional voice work is needed.)
Card Lore: As a young girl, she met with an unfortunate accident that resulted in her demise. She remains as a ghost, roaming the beach and recalling her memories of happiness by the ocean.
Personality: She's somber, but with a smile on her face. She's nostalgic for better days, when she was alive and had fun at the beach.
Voice: I'm looking for a female VA with a young adult voice. You'll only be making sounds, consisting of dreary giggles, or effort noises. Instead of loud and peppy, aim for quieter and slower, like you're mourning.

Major Summon: Lolly is Hayley's main Rank 1 card, often used to forward her strategy. She'll be summoned quite often, so you'll be featured in a number of episodes. Card Lore: Lolly is a happy go lucky, little girl who loves going to the beach. She dreams of one day becoming the world's best treasure hunter. She's always digging in the sand for any kind of treasure with her trusty pail and shovel. She's also best friends with Vanilla. Both wear a friendship bracelet as a symbol of their undying friendship. Also her name's Lolly. (Get it...?)
Personality: She's happy and optimistic, always wearing a big smile. She's ready and eager to look for some treasure
Voice: I'm looking for a female VA with a young voice able to match a 10-year old girl. Be as cute, bubbly and/or silly as you can possibly be

Card Lore: Glowing Gown is the mother and head of a family, that which takes pride in their riches and fiery magic. Scarlet is the daughter of Glowing Gown. They often perform together, showing off their red hot abilities.
Personality: She's elegant and confident, as she holds herself and her family in high regard.
Voice: I'm looking for a female VA with a mature, motherly voice. Aim to be as confident and elegant as possible.

Card Lore: A large mutant creature inhabits a great volcano and is said to have terrifying power, with a fiery fist that'll shatter its enemies
Personality: Big, intimidating mutant creature.
Voice: I'm looking for a male VA that can sound like a large, demonic fiery creature. Include deep growls and grunts.

Card Lore: A silly, not-so-bright bottom feeder fish, found, well, at the bottom of the sea.
Personality: Its a goofy, dull-witted fish.
Voice: I'm looking for a male VA with a deep voice, that can sound cartoonishly dumb. ("Duuuuuurs")
