Project Overview

NOTE: YOU MUST BE 16+ TO AUDITION FOR A VA ROLE!!

Stowaways is an original animated drama series set in New York City in the year 2035. The story follows five runaway kids—Alexei, Naomi, Chris, KK, and Luca—who have built a fragile found family inside an abandoned building on the Lower East Side. They survive through grit, hustle, and loyalty, but their world is one mistake away from collapsing.

By day, they blend into the city’s noise. By night, they navigate the shadows: dodging authorities, scavenging for resources, and protecting each other from a system that has already failed them.


This project is not for children. Stowaways deals with mature themes including survival, trauma, corruption, and the emotional weight of growing up without safety nets. While the show features humor, heart, and stylized action, its tone leans toward grounded drama and psychological intensity. However this show will have a lighthearted more cartoony side to it so things balance out a bit.

Content Warnings

This project may include: violence, strong language, themes of trauma, and mentions of substance use.

We are seeking voice actors who can deliver authentic, emotionally layered performances. Characters range from ages 10–17, but we welcome actors of all ages who can portray these roles convincingly. Commitment, professionalism, and strong acting instincts are essential.
