Stationary Hearts is a romantic comedy about a girl with bad luck trying to win the heart of her crush. After a mixup ruins Elaine's chance at a confession, she is just about to give up on finding love when she crosses paths with the mysterious loner, Tobias. Tobi offers to help Elaine win the heart of her crush if she can help him pass his midterm exams. Will Elaine's tutoring be enough? Will Tobi's strategy work? Find out as the story unfolds!
Hello all! I know it’s been awhile since I first created this project, and I think an update is in order. Firstly, I will say that I am still working on the project! Due to personal reasons I wasn’t able to meet the deadline for the official 2023 Weekly Fanime Challenge, but that will not stop my from putting this series out there! I aim to post an episode every month starting November, and I plan on posting the OP and ED this weekend. Thank you everyone for your support!
Isabelle is Elaine's best friend. Her kind and supportive attitude helps her get along with everyone she meets. She is a ball of positive energy who keeps everyone's spirits high even when they are at their lowest.
(dismissive) Oh come on Elaine. You’re way too caught up in this stupid jinx thing. It’s not even real.
(playful teasing) I saw that. Is our resident slacker teaching Elaine to not be so anti-social. Who would have thought such a friendship would blossom?
(encouraging) That’s awesome, Elaine! I’m sure you’re going to do great out there.
Elaine is the main character of this Fanmade Anime. She is kind and hardworking, but her accident prone nature leads her to be labled as a Jinx. Althouh discouraging, this doesnt stop Elaine from trying her best, both in her studies and in capturing her crush's heart.
(sadly) Ever since elementary school, I’ve had a nasty streak of bad luck, and to make things worse, others get bad luck from me if I’m close to them. I hear people call me a jinx.
(hopeful) Well you do have a lot of room for improvement, but I think half of these missed questions are from minor mistakes. I think if we can find out why these mistakes were made, we can correct the issue, and improve your score on the next quiz.
(lovey dovey) Well, they’ve got a nice smile and warm, kind eyes. They're pretty popular but not necessarily for the right reasons. Their personality is a little intense, but I just know they’re a nice person on the inside.
Tobi is a laid back guy looking to improve his grades before the end of the year. Tobi employs the help of the MC, Elaine, and in exchange he gives her the perfect strategy to win her crush's heart.
(persduading) You know, I can help you get your guy. I’m serious. Just going to a rooftop and confessing your feelings to a stranger isn’t going to work out. I can give you a strategy guaranteed to capture your crush's heart.
(encouraging) Yep. Take your headphones for instance. Constantly wearing them, even when you're not listening to music, gives off the vibe “I don’t want to talk to you”. Instead I want you to tell everyone good morning
(threatening) If you know what’s good for you, you’ll apologize. Otherwise we’re going to have this conversation again and I won’t be so nice.
Dorian is the student body president who enforces the rules with an iron fist. Although most students try not to get on Dorians badside, the delinquent, Nico, likes to taunt him, much to Dorian's annoyance. Despite being strict, under Dorian's tough exterior is a kind heart.
(irritated) It’s bad enough that Nico is fighting on campus every day, but Tobi is coming back to school after dropping out last year. I remember Tobi’s grades before he left. The two of them are making a mockery of our education system.
(Sadly) Even though I’m the class president and I’ve done so much for this school, no one really likes me. They talk about me behind my back and in my face. Even the other student council members whisper about me to their friends. I thought that if I started bad mouthing problem students it would get others to see me as one of them.
(confident) Oh really? If you want to win this thing you have to get through us, and don’t think I’m going to take it easy on you just because we’re friends now.
Nico is an androgynous delinquent who stands up for the little guy. Beating up bullies and protecting the weak is Nico's form of Justice. Nico often
(flattered) Gosh, no one ever said something like that to me. Thanks. I’ll wear them more
(taunting) Sorry Dorian, but detention slips are only valid if you give them to the student. There’s no way you can catch me! See ya, Class Pres!
(determined) I never start fights. I just end them. Unlike the students council I can’t just cast a blind eye when I see someone is being bullied, and I won’t turn down a fight just because some meathead thinks I ruined their fun.
I am looking for people who would like to play the background characters. There isn't a specific gender or tone of voice I am looking for. The background characters include teachers, a nurse, a police officer, train passengers, a characters relatives, etc. Most of these characters don't appear in more than one episode.
(gossiping student/smug) They call him Dorian the Drone! Pretty fitting from the way he acts. He’s so stiff and strict. It’s like he’s not even human.
(School Nurse/calm) Well he hit his head pretty hard, but it doesn’t look like a concussion. He just needs some rest, and he’ll be right as rain.
(Relative/ angry) Don’t act like you are better than us when it’s clear that you hold the same sentiments. That girl is a jinx!
