Star's Gale - Webcomic (Currently looking for VA's :3)

DESCRIPTION:

Vizor is a quiet, disturbed teenager who has suffered extreme tragedies early in life, leaving him with an emotional void in his heart. He only regains a spark of life in his voice when he's around his best and only friend, Ava Alkia. Unfortunately for him, he is the Protagonist of this story.

Around strangers, he may either be completely quiet or speak with a level of immediate disdain for the other person. When in danger, he let's his inner rage release and turns into a complete force of nature.

PERSONALITY:

Vizor, underneath his moody exterior, is a deeply afraid and depressed kid. At a young age, he was thrust into a world he didn't recognize, one full of lofty expectation for him because of a lineage that he wanted no part of. He tries to hide his emotions as hard as he can from his best friend, but those emotions do slip through regardless. 

Otherwise, he doesn't have much going on under the hood. Just a blank slate of a timebomb, that's primed to go off when threatened. When he is threatened, he loses his cool fast and acts like a hunter, taking out whatever's in his way. All with a demented smile on his face. He never remembers these moments though.


VOICE:

My ideal voice for Vizor would be similar to Johnny Yong Bosch's voice for Nero from Devil May Cry but with also a tired sound to his voice, kinda like if you just got out of bed! But feel free to try and give your own spin on the character! I wiil be choosing an actor that I believe best suits the character.

DESCRIPTION:

Ava is a scientific, young teenager with an attitude on her unlike most in her field! She's the deuteragonist of the story, being the best friend of the MC, Vizor. She follows him along in the story, being the light that guides Vizor through his painful journey to discover his unwanted power.

She's a massive tech wiz on the side! She loves to build her own gear to get a leg up on everything she deems necessary. That being said, she's obviously not perfect as most of her inventions have blown up in her face. Her pride and joy are the only inventions she made that didn't explode after the 2nd trial at most, her Accel Rings.

Personailty:

You can call Ava a lot of things; a brat, sassy, smug, maybe even self-centered! (Ok maybe not that last one.) But one of these things she definitely is, is an Extrovert to the max! She loves talking to others, and loves getting under their skin just as much. The only person she doesn't do that as much with, is Vizor. She understands that he's deeply hurting under the hood and wants to do everything to make sure he's ok and slowly heal his mental scars that were inflicted on him. 

Aside from that, she also loves to use her intellect to either one up/correct the person she's talking to or come up with an on the fly plan mid combat! She won't be afraid to maybe taunt the opposing person either >:3


Voice:

The ideal voice I have for Ava is something similar to Kate Higgins' performance as Sakura Haruno in Naruto or Heather Gonzalez's performance as Yukari Takeba in Persona 3 Reload! She's gotta be able to exude that confident aura while also being able to bring back down to earth whenever need be!

You can mess about with the voice and experiment if you would like! 

Personality:

Axis is an ancient warrior of legend from centuries long gone. He was the very 1st "User" and is also the most powerful of them. His strength is beyond compare, even rivaling the gods that blessed him with his power to begin with. He strives to gain more and more strength, even after his passing so he can be the ultimate protector of all. This has made him develop a cold extrerior to all but those that are closest to him, his fellow "Users."

Axis is the mentor to the MC, Vizor. He trains Vizor in using his power so that he can carry on the legacy of the "Users." How he does his training with the young dragon, is a lot more destructive and painful then you'd assume, believing the only way to truly gain more strength is to battle and develop the skills you learn in said battles. 

Personality:

Axis is an extremely cold individual, brushing off a lot of things as annoyances. His only care lies in gaining strength and battle. Which is why he'll glady leap into a duel with his fellow User's if they challenge him, even if he knows he's going to win. Aside from that, he spends a majority of his time honing his skills, mediatating, or training Vizor. 

That's what he'd want you to think at least, but underneath his tough exterior is another old man with a loving, warm heart for his fellow User's. He views them all as family to him and respects them all, despite the discrepency in strength between the 6 of them and him being extremely large. He just hides it all under a confident, precision-focused, cold extrerior. 

Voice:

The ideal voice in my head that I have for Axis is something in between Rufus Jones' voice for Dunban in Xenoblade Chronicles and Dan Southworth's voice for Vergil from DMC. What I'm imagining is Axis essientially having a Recieved Pronunciation British accent with the same speech patterns and inflection as Vergil from DMC.

You can still feel free to experiment with the voice ofc! 

Description:

Echo acts as a distant guardian for the MC's, watching from afar and jumping in when they're in danger. At the same time, he is also meant to be the one to check to see if Vizor has gained enough strength to fulfill his destiny, and make sure he's fully focused on it.

On the other hand: the 2nd character is named Ambien, the god of all creation in the world of Star's Gale. He's the only remaining deity after some mysterious event wiped out everything and every other deity except him. He took it upon himself to reconstruct the universe at his own will, and is thus responsible for the world that our MC's inhabit, along with essentially everything else. 

Just like his alternate identity, he watches all of existence from afar

Personality:

Echo/Ambien are one and the same and thus share the same personality. A very caring, honorable deity who cares deeply for all the life he's created. When Echo explores the world he's created, he never directly interacts with important matters unless absolutely necessary. Otherwise, he does enjoy interacting with the inhabitants of his world, treating them all with a kind smile and warm spirit, even if they don't reciprocate.

Description:

Vizor is a young dragon, who's little smile could light up an entire cave on it's own! He lives off in the forest area with his parents, spending every day together and he wouldn't wanna have it any other way. He loves playing with others and showing off just how awesome he is, compared to his dad. 

He also loves going on little day trips with his parents or venturing out into the capital kingdom of his home nation, Pyronnia. He is a little shy during his trips to the kingdom since he's not super great around strangers. Otherwise, this lil guy is just a ball of sunshine who couldn't ask for a better life! 
Unfortunately, fate had... other plans for him.

Personality:

Compared to his older self, Vizor during this point of time is far more excitable and chipper! He has tons of energy, loves to play, wants to be as awesome as his parents, and just generally loves life. With that said, he's also a bit of a cocky lil rat, most likely taking after his mom in that department. That's not to say he's ALWAYS happy. Whenever he's afraid, he has a strong tendency to shut down and start crying out for his parents (which is usually what kids would do when they're scared but ya know).

His parents are really just his entire world and because of that, he feels the happiest and secure when he's around both of them! Although he does a small bit of bias for his mom compared to his dad. 

Voice:

The ideal voice I have for this younger version of Vizor is something similar to Justine Lee's performance as Ken Amada in Persona 3 Reload. Maybe have the voice be a little more higher pitched since this version of Vizor was only 8 years old at this point of the story.

Description:

Aries is an ancient warrior from centuries past. He is the 2nd "User" and the only one who is related to the 1st User by blood. Being directly related to the 1st by blood, there were incredibly high expectations placed on him at a very young age. He worked his hardest in life to fulfill the expectations that were placed upon him, but no matter what he did, it always proved futile.

As hard he tried, he always grew up in the shadow of Axis, making him resent the one who came before with a passion unlike any other. Even now, he continues to train and hone his strength in the vain attempt that he can finally surpass his ancestor. However, no matter what he does, he's also doomed to be in Axis' shadow.

Aries acts as a guardian of the MC, Vizor. He does not trust Axis in the slightest due to his history and thus tries as hard as he can to protect the young User from him. For the most part, he watches Vizor from a distance when Vizor and Axis train together, but the moment he notices that Axis might be taking it too far, he jumps in immediately. Aries won't disclose why but for some reason, he acts very protective towards the boy. 

Personailty:

Aside from his strong hatred of Axis, Aries is much more energetic and hot-headed then his predecessor. Aries loves to try and hone his skills in combat at any oppurtunity but when he isn't, he loves to spend time with his fellow User's. Aries is typically the first one to volunteer if anybody needs help and he tries to keep a grin on his face.

That being said, it's also worth noting that Aries is also a cocky motherfucker who thinks he can take just about anything. He loves to antagonize his fellow User's with taunts, and god forbid you spar him because you probably can't figure if he's taking it seriously or not. That's what he wants tho, cuz it makes the beat down all the sweeter for him!

Voice:

The ideal voice I have in my head for Aries is something in between Reuben Langdon's performance as Dante in DMC5 and Adam Howden's performance as Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles.

Pretty much just imagine Dante with a british accent lmao.

Description:

By his own definition, Ravis is a maniacal force of nature. He's deluted himself into thinking that he alone has the power to shape the world to his whims, to create a world that can survive without the existence of User's. That's why he will do whatever necessary to wipe the protagonist, Vizor, off the face of reality. All while maintaining his image as a king of the land of fire, Pyronnia. A title of King, mind you, that was usurped after assassinating the previous king by himself during a planned attack that he coordinated.

Before he ennacted his plan to seize power, Ravis was the general of the armies of the kingdom of Pyronnia. He kept a diligent eye over all army activity, commanding over every aspect with an iron fist and a blackened heart. On the side, however, he assigned a small team of scientists to research the history of the User's in great detail. This led to him locating a book that contains every aspect of the User's history, including information not meant to be seen. This book is what led him to finally take action and go full throttle on his plan to seize power, kickstarting the events of Star's Gale.

Personailty:

Putting it lightly, Ravis is a sadistic killer that unconciously wants to bring the world to it's knees. He lives for bloodshed, likely shaped during his time in war. He wants to see the world suffer, all while sitting at the top with a smile on his face. He's deluted himself into believing he's a savior, thinking he can bring upon change to the world, but underneath the hood he just want's to see it all burn. It's not clear why he wants to do this, but it may have an answer rooted somewhere in his past. Whatever it might be, Ravis is someone who's too far gone. 

While all this is the truth behind Ravis, he puts on a second face to the whole world. Acting like a true king, doing what the previous was too cowardly to do. He will act remorseful to all the attrocites he commits, giving a warming heart to those in his vicinity. But the instant he's questioned or if he deems it necessary, he will eliminate them without a second thought. He will play prepetual victim and say that those he's eliminated threatened his life and due to the constant fear towards him, everyone will immediately agree and carry on. Heroes do not exist to Ravis, for he is the only hero, a hero that seeks ruin.

Voice:

The voice I have for Ravis is a bit more specific than the other cast. The voice I have in mind for Ravis is something close to Hoon Lee's performance as the White Rabbit from the Netflix Devil May Cry anime. 

Description:

Maple is a total technical genius, graced with a heart full of smug aura and a light not found often. Maybe that has something to do with her roots as a fire dragon? Who knows! But what is known is that Maple is the kind of person who cares for everyone deeply but hoo boy does she love toying with them.

Oh yeah and she's also the 3rd user! Hailing from an era of rapid technological advancement, she has a passion to create more and more. Why? Mostly to make her life easier but also just to mess with other people. Rebellious spirit is the proper term to be assigned to Maple because she's one to do her own thing and her own thing alone. But that aside, she cares for her fellow User's like family and will defend them as such if need be. Especially with Vizor, she's very overprotective of him, acting almost like a mother figure to him. Or at least a really fun aunt?

Personality:

Cocky, Smart, Protective! The 3 defining adjectives of Maple! She loves life and loves what she does. She's got a heart of gold, only wanting to do right by people but unfortunately her competive energy leads to get a bit full of herself at times. She does mean well by everything she does though. She wants to see everyone get better and be the best versions of themselves and so she tries to push the other User's as hard as she can. The biggest exception, however, is Vizor. For some reason with him, she wants to protect him as much as she can from the other User's. If you ask her why, all she'll say is that she can see the pain in his soul.

Voice:

The voice that I had in my mind for Maple is something close to Erica Mendez's performance as Ryuko Matoi in Kill La Kill. A voice that shines in confident aura but can be brought down to sound as gentle as the morning breeze.
