Spooktober VN Jam 2025 - Voice Acting Audition

Project Overview

Hello and welcome to the audition post to find VAs for characters in the upcoming project for the ‘Spooktober 7th Annual Visual Novel Jam’ that will start in September.

Details of the Jam in this link:

You can also look at my original post that I put on Itch:

I am an experienced game developer who is doing a ’12 games for 2025’ goal by doing game jams, this jam will be my 9th  jam for 2025 and my 2nd game project to include voices.

I’ve already have a planned outline for what my game will be about and the characters that will be featured in the game, and I need people to voice those characters.

Check out the open auditions for the different characters below, if you are interested, then do an audition with the voice lines for the audition, and either submit them here on CCC or DM me (Yarheeguy) on Discord.

What is my game about:

My game is going to be a visual novel taking place in the World of See Only Evil. Where the player plays as a very creepy, ugly and uncanny looking person who looks like a monster more than a human… working at the cash register at an American gas station during Halloween.

The World of See Only Evil is my own version of a superhero society similar of My Hero Academia, but is also a 1984-style dystopian setting where usage of powers are restricted by law and the government monitors any known and potential villains.

You can check out Rebecca’s Origins as that game is good introduction to the world of SoE.

Possible Reward:

The Game Jam features cash prizes for winning games that has the best categories.

If we managed to win, I am offering 20% of the main prize (1st, 2nd or 3rd) to be divided equally to all voice actors.

But that’s not all, there is a special category for ‘Best Voice Actor’ if my game manages to win this, then whoever responsible for the award will get a 80% of the prize of the category (as of this post, that would be $80 USD)

Conclusion:

Auditions will be open from now till 31st of August at 12PM  BST or until all character roles has been filled.

I will pick the voices if I believe they are the best voice, so I recommend submitting your audition as soon as possible. You can also apply for more than 1 role and I am happy to have the same person doing 2 or more voice roles.

Good luck to anyone who auditions.
