Project Overview

ABOUT THE FILM:

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an Oscar-winning animated film released in 2018. The film is set in a shared multiverse of alternate-universes called the "Spider-Verse". It follows a 13 year old New York City teenager Miles Morales. He struggles to live up to the expectations of his father, police officer Jefferson Davis, who sees Spider-Man as a menace. Miles' uncle Aaron takes him to an abandoned subway station to paint graffiti as a way to cheer him up. There, Miles is bitten by a radioactive spider and gains abilities similar to Spider-Man. Returning to the station where he got bit, he discovers a collider built by Kingpin, who hopes to access parallel universes to abduct alternate versions of his late wife Vanessa and son Richard. Spider-Man attempts to disable the collider while fighting Kingpin's enforcers, the Green Goblin and Prowler. Green Goblin shoves Spider-Man into the collider, causing an explosion that kills the former and wounds the latter, who then gives Miles a USB flash drive designed to disable the collider, warning that the machine could destroy the city if reactivated. After watching in horror as Kingpin murders Spider-Man, Miles flees. As the city mourns Spider-Man's death, Miles tries to honor his legacy by becoming the new Spider-Man. While planning on disabling the collider. Miles meets a few other spidey people including Peter B. Parker, Gwen Stacy, Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker, and Spider-Ham. The spidey team must come together to defeat Kingpin and take down his collider once and for all!

ABOUT THE FULL FANDUB PROJECT:

Below are all the characters from the film open and ready to be auditioned! When auditioning please leave your discord username so if you get the role I can add and invite you to the discord server! This full fandub project will have a few seconds cut off the original runtime for personal reasons just a heads up but mostly everything will be the same. Most of the small changes may not be noticeable! I cannot wait to have a stacked cast on board with me on this project! Miles will be played by me but the roles mentioned below are available have fun auditioning!

  • FINAL PROJECT UPDATE

    This is going to be a final update for the project! We are just about done with casting I plan on casting the two final roles MJ, and Spider-Man 67 very soon! For those of you who didn't get accepted for any roles and STILL want to be a part of the cast I am looking for some people to play background characters so if you are still interested feel free to private message me! I hope everyone who got accepted is very excited to play their roles and meet the other cast members they will be working with!   • PROJECT UPDATE

    Hello everyone! Thought I’d give an update on the casting calls here before June ends. So starting June 23rd I will be looking at the uploaded auditions and choosing which person gets the part of a character. I won’t be doing this in one day we still have until July 10th so from June 23rd to July 10th I will be choosing people’s auditions for a role. So to those of you who haven’t auditioned yet but want to you have until July 10th. I cannot wait to be working with the people who get the parts!
