Sonic SatAm Abridged
Project Overview
Sonic SatAM Abridged is an upcoming abridged series based on the cult classic animated series Sonic the Hedgehog (also known as Sonic SatAM) from Hiro no Hero Productions, creators of Dragon Ball Super Abridged. If you're a fan of the series, or even if you have no familiarity with it, feel free to audition!
Audition Requirements
-A good microphone (little to no background noise, decent audio quality)
-Commitment. Do NOT audition if you think you will have to drop out for any reason.
-16 or over is preferred.

Sonic is the main protagonist of the series. He is able to run at superhuman speed, and is the only freedom fighter capable of using magical rings called Power Rings. Sonic, in this version, is incredibly sarcastic, cynical, and lazy, and often has to be yelled at or coerced into helping out. He often makes romantic advances towards Sally, which fail on a consistent basis.
*sigh* Oh, boy, here she goes with the whole "my father is gone and might be dead" thing again. What's the big deal, again?
I mean, I *could* help. But I'm not going to. I haven't even had lunch yet. How do you expect me to 'go fast' on an empty stomach?
The rightful princess of Mobotropolis and Sonic's love interest. As strategist for the Knothole Freedom Fighters, she is intelligent and cautious. She is very intent on finding her father, which Sonic often mocks, because he's an a**hole.
Ugh, Sonic, just for ONCE could you be of help?
I think this will get us this much closer to finding my father!
*over the top motherliness* Tails, no, you're staying home, sweetie. *inner monologue* I swear where did we pick this kid up anyway?
A rabbit with a southern accent. Half of her body was roboticized, leaving her left arm and both legs mechanical. She is skilled in martial arts, and desires to be returned to normal.
Oh, sugar, that sounds just wonderful!
Sonic, ah swear, you help out less than Tails! No offense.
A coyote with a French accent whose clumsiness often places the others in danger. He has some difficulty speaking English. He has romantic feelings for Princess Sally, and attempts to impress her. However, his cowardice hinders this goal. This goal also will often lead to being competitive with Sonic, who often teases Antoine over his shortcomings.
Oh, princess, your majesty, darling, have I mentioned today that your hair looks lovely?

Tails is, quite frankly, useless. He stays behind all of the time, and is pretty much a liability whenever he gets involved. Sonic befriends him because he believes spending time with him will get him out of going on missions. However, and he would never admit this to anyone, including himself, he feels some genuine affection for him after a while.
(Tails is obviously a male character. I'd like either a male who can pull off a convincing little boy voice, or a female voice actor)

Hey! Why can’t I come!
A walrus, and the mechanic of Knothole Village. He provides the Knothole Freedom Fighters with useful inventions, and accompanies them on missions. He tends to get annoyed with the rest of the Freedom Fighters' disregard for his importance on the team.
Yeah, but who cares about some nerdy handyman? I wanna be a cool hero like Soni...well a cool hero.
Where did I put that blasted screwdriver? Oh, that’s right! I left it at....Sonic’s house. Oh boy.
A portable computer that Sally uses to hack into Robotnik's technology. Nicole speaks in mostly monotone, although there are hints of passive aggressive disdain for her work and owners, and exhibits artificial intelligence. It is indicated that Sally received Nicole from her father.

There is a 95% chance that you are all going to fucking die.
A warlord who seeks to cover Mobius in machinery, and transform its population into robotic slaves. He is chiefly opposed by the Knothole Freedom Fighters. Robotnik, in spite of his power and menace, is somewhat lazy, and will often spend more of his time watching terrible sitcoms than working towards his goals.
That damn hedgehog! Bring me his head, now! And a coffee, if you would, thank you.
I swear to god, Snively, this had better be pretty damn important. I'm watching Full Houseright now.
Robotnik's assistant and nephew. He is constantly mistreated by his uncle. As such, Snively despises Robotnik and plots behind his back.
Uh, yes, Dr. Robotnik, the season sets of the Big Bang Theory you ordered just arrived.

Cat is an elderly member of the freedom fighters, who only appears in episode 1.
