Sonic : RUSTHEART
Project Overview
SONIC: RUSTHEART is a character-driven Sonic the Hedgehog audio drama set five years after the death of Doctor Eggman.
After a catastrophic accident, Sonic disappears, and the remaining heroes move on with fractured lives of their own. Tails builds a new future in Greenhill City, Amy hides herself away in a small-town bakery, Knuckles abandons the Master Emerald, and Shadow lives on the run from G.U.N.
But when Metal Sonic suddenly returns, carrying the grief of losing his creator, old wounds begin to reopen.
RUST HEART is a darker, emotional take on the Sonic universe focused on guilt, identity and grief. While the project contains action and high-speed set pieces, its main focus is atmosphere, character dynamics, and emotional storytelling.
The project will also feature a completely original soundtrack created by me and Swagestbat.
This is my first major project, and I’d genuinely love to have people come aboard and help bring this story to life.
