Project Overview
Songs of War: What If...? is a Fanmade spin-off series based off of the medieval fantasy production called Songs of War by Squared Media. Songs of War was about a land called Ardonia, where the story of an outcast species rises up to take revenge on the world. One Ardoni, titled the Deathsinger, set out to ensure his people were never persecuted again.
Songs of War: What If...? is a series that dives deep into the hypothetical scenarios of different results of a certain event that happened in the original Songs of War story. Different stories take place each episode, and different endings to the original Songs of War based on if something happened differently than how it did in the original Songs of War.
This Casting Call is for the lead roles in this production, meaning they appear as major characters in more than one episode. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Varek Mendoris is a strong Ardoni warrior, and the strongest warrior of the Mendoris Clan. He was one of the leading forces in the Great War, and in some universes, survived to see the Second Great War. He has many different personalities, and is quite the emotional rollercoaster, therefore this voice actor may need to do a variety of emotions. You also must have a range based on age, as you will have to voice a young version of him, and an old version of him.
This is my personal character, I have spent a lot of time working on him and have voiced him for some projects. However this project means much more, and I feel like I need a more professional voice actor to voice him. He should have a mid-low voice, though he should also have a wide variety of different tones and voices.

*angered, middle-aged* Don't you know who I am!? I am Varek! I fought the Deathsinger in the Great War! I trained the Tidesinger! I did all these great deeds, yet the Walls of Time exclude me!
*verge of tears, young adult* I am trying to protect you! All my life have I been trying to protect you! You mean everything to me, I refuse to lose you!
*sarcastic, teen* Oh because you're definitely a more difficult foe for him. Go ahead, tough guy, be my guest. I'm not patching up your wounds if you make it back alive.
Hanata is a strong warrior of the Sendaris clan. She was young when her mother, Xandi, was killed by bandits and was later rescued and trained to be the strongest warrior of the Sendaris Clan, equal to or greater than Thalleous. She is a very emotional character, often switching from anger, to tears, to joy, etc. She wields a large diamond blade to maximize her ability combined with her great physical strength. She becomes friends with the Tidesinger and learns his battle knowledge, and physical ability from Varek. With this training, she becomes one of the greatest Ardoni warriors of all time.
She often fights for her own beliefs, which can cause her to hesitate in battle when she's confused about whether or not she is on the right side.
Her voice should be lower of the female range, but also with the capability to go higher, and she's sometimes on screen as a child. You should be able to do both a higher and lower range for her. Don't forget the emotional capable range, so keep track of the emotion used in each line.

*angered, young adult* How am I supposed to protect my friends, my family, protect you, if you won't let me go fight in the war!
Vulcannus is the prince of the Nether and the rightful heir to the Nether Throne. His younger brother, Pythus, killed their father, King Chronos, and unlawfully succeeded the throne. Vulcannus, alongside his new ally, the Deathsinger, the most powerful being in Ardonia, revolted against Pythus in an attempt to overthrow him and claim the throne. He is also a very skilled warrior.
Unlike the rest of the Nether Kingdom, this Netharan is more lighthearted than the others. He is much kinder to those beneath him and of lesser skill, and often shows mercy rather than ruthlessness in contrast to the rest of the Royal Family.
Vulcannus is a very intellectual being with a highly advanced vocabulary in multiple circumstances. His voice should be very low with a deep grumble-like rasp. I imagine him to sound a lot like Optimus Prime from Transformers, if that helps with any referencing.

*angered, yelling* You murdered our father and usurped control of our Kingdom! Your dark deeds will not go unpunished, brother!
Calm and wise master of the Nestoris during the time of the Great War. He is the most prominent master and is probably the most kind and considerate of the four. He once adopted a young Ingressus Voltaris and was also a prominent figure Achillean Nestoris' life.
He is a formal senior representative of the Nestoris clan, he makes decisions for the clan and has a high reputation among the world of Ardonia.

I will not hurt an innocent child under my care. You must understand, Achillean, the Voltaris struggle enough to survive as it is.
I would never initiate a Voltaris into the Nestoris clan. This is an act of deviance from the Voltaris.
I understand the pain you suffer is far greater than any warrior may ever know. Having to hurt one's friends, even family, it's a pain no one should ever have to endure.
The Master of the Mendoris Clan during the time of the Great War. He is a stubborn individual, and quick to judge and accuse someone. He is always the first to point fingers and the last to make an agreement. The other masters are not too fond of him, but he gets work done when it needs to be done. He will very easily make the hard decisions.
He is a senior representative of the Mendoris clan, he should have a low voice with a profound outspoken tone, his presence should be known to everyone who can hear him.

*solemn* If the only way to stop this madness is by war and bloodshed, then so be it. We're going to war.
*cold* The only reason I don't throw you out to the badlands is because the other Masters would be throw me there with you, watch your tongue.
These characters may range from a deep raspy grumbly Netharan Messenger, to a child, to a warrior of the Ardoni clans, or government officials. We will pick specific people based on your voice type if you choose to audition for a background character.
Anyone can audition! All you need is a good sound quality and chances are you'll get someone that fits your voice. These roles are unisex and regardless of age.
