Somewhere Other [Comic Dub}
Project Overview
Hi I wanted to do a comic dub of the finished comic "Somewhere Other"!
Somewhere-Other follows the story of Jo, a young bandit who only wants to belong somewhere. Unfortunately, her stubborn yet eager-to-please attitude attracts some unsavory characters. Characters that are eager to manipulate Jo into doing their dirty work.
This will be a long-term project, with visual, vocal, and music effects all being edited and created by me :)
This will be posted on social media platforms (ex. Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok)
Payment is not yet decided but everyone will get at least something in this project! (Via Zelle, Paypal, or Venmo) So do your best!
I will be adding more characters as this arc progresses but I would like to get this going as soon as possible so I can edit everything! So, the deadline will be a bit shorter.
Requirements:
Since this comic has some 18+ themes (not NSFW) I would prefer to work with people 18+
Please have a clear mic I would appreciate it so everyone has the same volume
Have fun! It's not meant to be that serious lol so have fun with the voices, characters, etc. If you want to do your research on this comic that's also fine with me!

"Jo is a very smart and very stubborn young bandit who only wants a happy, peaceful life. Which would be easier if she didn't have a mean streak 6 miles wide. She really is her own worst enemy."
She is the main protagonist who is gruff and not trusting but over time turns slightly softer as she allows her friends in.
Voice Claim: Voice - Viper [SUBBED] | VALORANT English but rougher
She has a bit of a lower voice but when she's nervous or upset it gets slightly higher

"The long reigning King of Nocturnia is extremely kind, silly, and in need of a good nights rest. Having been thrown into the job, he's really just like any other person. He even does the cooking for his castle staff. Word has it, that when someone becomes the ruler of Nocturnia, they have to take on the name "Nocturne"...who knows what his name used to be?"

(Serious) Battles were fought against you on a daily basis! With the odds alone someone was ought to beat you.
"Lord Mortullace was defeated by King Nocturne for a second time, nobody expected him to reappear in any shape or form. Needless to say, he has every intent to destroy King Nocturne and reclaim his power."

I'm sure you remember what's down there Jo. I don't think you would be so lucky to survive it a second time.

For this character I want him to have a bit of a jersey accent, not too much but just noticeable enough.
And his voice should sound a bit higher, but not extremely high.

"Geordie and Mortullace go way back, but once Old Mort disappears, he wouldn't lie he likes it better without him. Snarky and very confident, he doesn't back down too easily, when the situation is right. Though most of the time, he prefers to let things slide. No sense in sweating over the petty things. Neb is his pride and joy, and he can't wait to see what his little witch cooks up next."
