hellooo its been a while since I had a project AND a while since i've made animation... these days ive been thinking about making an easygoing slice of life animation featuring my original characters Soleil and Archie, two people who are humanoid, and enjoy (to an extent) exploring what human life is about
the setting will take place in Toronto where I live so I can accurately portray what it is like
of course, im still getting details in, and whether the project will be completed is a mystery but i will try my best to fulfil my own wishes and make something good! if you have faith in me and my capabilities I would love if you applied and gave either character a shot (❁´◡`❁)
basic requirements:
have discord for main communication, please include in your submission (highly preferred)
audio quality should be decent, kinda hard to get immersed in something if theres like a loud fan in the back lol

seeing all the soleil submissions has me a little antsy so i went ahead and added a new character available to be voiced even though i havent casted the second dude just yet ᓚᘏᗢ wayne is an existing character from a videogame (i dont own the guy) but he lacks a voice and im excited to have him in my animation
also i wont be double casting so people who got a role already wont be casted twice to give some other people a chance 🙏 just adding that in for future purposes
hi !! i went ahead and added an animation done on OpenToonz (but drawn on IbisPaintx) onto the project image so you guys can get an idea on how my animation (or artstyle i plan on using idk) style kinda looks ... ive never used OpenToonz before and decided I wanted to ditch Flipaclip for smoother stuff so i hope it looks ok
anyhoo, i made some slight line adjustments to the roles (you do not need to resubmit) . and, a character detail - archie will speak some african-american vernacular english, if you still think this is in your capabilities, leave your submission up!! i am always listening
also some people didnt add their discord to their submission - i know not everyone has it, so i might be open to onsite
lastly would you guys like if i made a discord server for this project? im dying to post material like concept art and character design but if theres no interest im fine with that just let me know ᓚᘏᗢ

sorry for the vague role but im looking to cast (not onsite unfortunately since it will only display one name) a few friends for archie !!! he has companions and im not too sure what design they should have - so if i really like your take, the design will kinda be based off of your voice... probably 👨🍼
